Recently, when we were watching a TV debate of foreign policy experts, there seem to be consensus that Pakistan has landed itself into a very difficult situation.
At the same time, these experts were suggesting, this time IMF would put very strict conditions before granting loans to Pakistan.
As you can see in this photo, after granting 21 times financial support to Pakistan, if we expect any wisdom from IMF at 22nd time, then we should blame our selves.
We all know, America has strong voting power, Without American green flag, IMF Cannot give even 1 dollar to Pakistan.
With IMF accepting the Pakistan's formal request, few experts suggested, that America and Pakistan might have reached the deal in which Pakistan was supposed to help America in Afghanistan in return of IMF bailout.
First of all, there is no evidence confirming such Pakistan and America deal. If America has indeed entered into such deal, America would only make itself fool.
Lets look at history, Afghan war started in October 2001, and Pakistan got 465 Million Dollar from IMF in September 2001. Its very clear, IMF bailout was American bribe to Pakistan for helping it in Afghanistan.
Since then, Pakistan has got 3 more IMF bailouts, but America is yet to win the afghan war.
If American policy analysts think that 4th IMF bailout will force Pakistan to let America win, We can certainly say, these experts don't deserve to be called experts.
In order to make eyes of Americans wide open, Yesterday only Taliban attacked to kill top US Commander in Afghanistan. Though he escaped unhurt, but Head of Afghan intelligence department lost his life.
Unless American experts have already become opium addict, they should learn the lesson from this Taliban Attack.
Anyways, those who think themselves as very clever, are easiest target of Pakistan.
Normally, if a person is standing with a begging bowl, you wont expect him to bargain.
But make no mistake, Pakistan is smart beggar.
After formally requesting IMF for Bailout, Pakistan Prime minister has said, that he has received very positive response from Friendly countries like China and Saudi Arabia.
And Pakistan may not need to seek IMF bailout at all.
Whether Pakistan gets 8 Billion Dollar bailout from China or not, that's different matter.
By issuing such statement, he is not only creating illusion for his own domestic audience, but also communicating to IMF, that Pakistan is not dependent only on IMF for saving it.
Basically, Before IMF delegation arrives in Pakistan and finalizes strict conditions, Pakistan wants to enter into negotiations with position of strength.
Having said that, Imran khan does not have the authority to accept or reject IMF bailout, it would be Pakistan Army, which will decide on this.
Therefore lets be clear, Pakistan Army will not accept any IMF bailout condition, which will be harmful to its strategy of 1000 years to defeat India.
you can see, here is a nation which is going to beg for 22nd IMF bailout, but at the same time, its conducting ballistic missile tests and it is buying 48 drones from China and interested to buy new Chinese cruise missiles.
Needless to say, there is no decline in Pakistan terrorist sponsorship against India,
Lets be clear, IMF can give 1000 bailout but Pakistan is not going to change.
More interestingly, there is possibility that instead of IMF, Pakistan gets more loan from China.
As we have discussed many times, Pakistan cares only about money. It doesn't care, from where money is coming.
China has 3000 billion dollars in currency reserves. it can easily give 8 Billion dollar to its all weather friend.
It seems, the day is not far when China will give loan to Pakistan, so that Pakistan can repay old Chinese loan.
It would be better, if China simply cancels its loan to Pakistan.
While we talk about China and Pakistan relationship, we must not forget, its not an economic but strategic relationship against India.
If China follows even basic economics, it will never give 8 Billion dollar to bankrupt Pakistan, rather it should seriously reconsider China Pakistan economic corridor projects.
But China is not doing it at all, because Pakistan plays a much bigger role in its strategy. That's what, Pakistan understands clearly.
In simple words, For China, Pakistan is room with no exit door in it.
Perhaps that's why no matter what Pakistan does to Chinese money, China will have to continue throwing money in Pakistan.
if China is trying to put out fire with Petrol. We wish good luck and success in this strategy.
In fact, we would like to say, Pakistan is only country in the world, which knows how to milk Chinese cow.
Amid all this, Whether America or IMF or China loses in this game , Pakistan always wins.
