लेकिन अब जैसे जैसे ट्रेड डेटा निकल कर सामने आ रहा है, हम जैसे आम लोगों को समझ आ रहा है, की इस ट्रेड वॉर के शुरूआती चरण में कौन जीत रहा है, और कौन हार रहा है.

अमेरिका पर लगे चीन के टेर्रिफ के कारण, फ्रांस और जर्मनी को सबसे ज्यादा लाभ होने की सम्भावना है.

जो माल चीन ने हमेशा से अमेरिका से ख़रीदा है, अगर वह माल चीन ने किसी और देश से खरीदने का निर्णय लिया, तो सबसे ज्यादा चाँदी फ्रांस और जर्मनी ही काटने वाले हैं.

लेकिन बड़ी खबर यह हैं, की चीन के माल पर अमेरिका के टेर्रिफ के कारण, दुनिया में सबसे ज्यादा लाभ अकेले वियतनाम को हुआ है.

चीन का माल मँहगा हों जाने के कारण, वियतनाम को नए आर्डर मिल रहे हैं, जिनकी कुल मिलाकर वैल्यू पहले क्वार्टर में वियतनाम की GDP के 8 फ़ीसदी के बराबर थी.

वियतनाम के बाद, चीन से हटने वाले व्यापार से लाभ ताइवान को भी हुआ है.

Sadly इस ट्रेड war में जीतने वालों को अगर लाइन में खड़ा किया जाये, तो भारत का 18 वा नंबर आता है.

लेकिन यह बात भी सच है, की चीन के शातिर व्यापारिओं ने अपना माल अमेरिका वियतनाम ताइवान और मेक्सिको से होकर भेजना चालू कर दिया है.

आप तो इस transhipment के कांसेप्ट को समझते हैं, जिसके अंतर्गत चीन के व्यपारी मेड इन चाइना माल अमेरिका में मेड इन वियतनाम लेबल के साथ वियतनाम से होकर भेज रहे हैं.

इस transhipment के ही कारण, ट्रेड वॉर में इतनी जल्दी वियतनाम को इतना भारी लाभ हुआ है.

लेकिन यदि आप मार्केट पर नजर रखें, तो आप समझ गए होंगे, की transhipment के बाबजूद सप्लाई चेन्स चीन से उखड़ने लगी हैं.

जबकि हमारे भारतीय एक्सपर्ट चीन की तरफ से रोना रो रहे थे, आप सभी ने पिछले एक साल से लगातार इस बात का सपोर्ट किया है, की भारत ने चीन से भाग रही कंपनियों के लिए रेड कारपेट विछाना चाहिए.

हम बड़े ही नादान साबित होंगे, अगर हम इसी घमंड में रहे, की क्योकि भारत दुनिया का सबसे युवा देश है, इसलिए कम्पनियाँ भारत में आने के लिए लाइन में लग जाएँगी.

इसी बीच हिंदुस्तान में एक साल से चुनाव की महाभारत चल रही थी. यह भी एक कारण है, ट्रेड वॉर का लाभ हमें बहुत कम क्यों मिल पाया है.

लेकिन अब लाइव मिंट अख़बार में छपी रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक ऐसा लगता है, की हमारी सरकार ने जागने के संकेत देना चालू कर दिया है.

हमारी सरकार इस बात की स्टडी कर रही है, की वियतनाम ने कैसे चीन से भाग रही कम्पनियों को आकर्षित कर पाने में सफलता पायी है.

हो सकता है, मोदी सरकार चीन से आ रही कंपनियों के लिए भारत में टैक्स में कमी अथवा कुछ वर्षो के लिए टैक्स हॉलिडे दे दे.

लेकिन साथ में भारत सरकार कपटी चीन के बंद बाजार में निर्यात बढ़ाने की कोसिस भी कर रही है. लगता है, उनका confusion अभी ख़तम नहीं हुआ है . यह भारत का दुर्भाग्य होगा, यदि हमने इस समय दो नावों में सवारी करने के गलती की.

जैसा की अभी बजट की प्रिंटिंग चालू हो गयी है, थोड़ा और इंतजार करने में अभी कोई बुराई नहीं है.

लेकिन चीन से भाग रही कंपनियों का भारत में स्वागत हो, आप सभी ने इस आईडिया को सपोर्ट किया है. पॉइंट सिंपल है, अगर कोई कंपनी चीन से भागने की सोचे, तो उसके लिए भारत सबसे आकर्षक देश होना चाहिए.

कहने की जरूरत नहीं है, जब वियतनाम इस ट्रेड वॉर को बिना लड़े जीत सकता है, तो हमें चीन की मीठी मीठी बातों में आकर दुनिया के सबसे बड़े बाजार अमेरिका से क्यों लड़ना चाहिए.

However as the trade data in last one year is coming, we people are getting more clarity about who are the winners and losers at least in the initial phase of this trade war.

Due to Chinese tariffs on american goods, the biggest winners are expected to be France and Germany.

Based on detailed analysis of what China has bought from America over the years, its expected that if China wants to buy from somewhere else, it would be these two countries France and Germany.

Now Thanks to American tariffs on Chinese goods, Vietnam is by far the biggest winner in this trade war.

Due to trade diversion away from China, Vietnam got new orders, which are equal to 8 percent of its GDP in the first quarter of this year itself.

After Vietnam, Taiwan has also got the benefit of trade moving away from China.

Sadly, when the winners were counted, India stood at the 18th position.

While its true that Vietnam, Taiwan and Mexico have gained a lot in this trade war due to Chinese traders transshipping the goods to America.

You understand, In order to avoid American tariffs, Chinese traders are sending Made in China goods with Made in Vietnam label via Vietnam to America.

This transshipment may be one reason, why Vietnam has gained so much so fast in this trade war.

However, if you look at the market Supply chains are moving away from China slowly.

That's why for last one year you all have supported India rolling out red carpet for companies moving away from China.

We would be naive, if we think that just because we are the youngest nation on earth, companies would form a queue to enter in India.

Thanks to long election season, India has some how missed getting the benefits of This trade war.

Now our government is preparing the budget and as per news report published in Live Mint news paper, it appears, our government is finally showing the signs of waking up.

Government is studying how Vietnam is able to lure the companies moving away from China.

Modi government may offer, better preferential tax or tax holiday for companies, if they are relocating the manufacturing from China to India.

At the same time, India is also trying to increase export to China. it appears, our confused government is trying to ride on two boats simultaneously.

As the budget preparation is going on, we should wait for some more time.

But you all are with the idea of India welcoming companies. The point is simple, India has to become most attractive country for any company thinking to relocate its plant from China.

Needless to say, when we can win this trade war by being friend of America, why should we fight with it?
