Megan Kelly is an American political commentator and journalist

46 year old Kelly was born on 18 November 1970  is  Champaign, Illinois.

Her father Edward Kelly was a teacher and mother Linda was a homemaker

When she was 9 years old, her family moved to Albany New York
Her father died of heart attack when Kelly was only 15 years old


She is Political science graduate from Syracuse University
In 2001 She married Daniel Kendall, who is an anesthesiologist.

Their marriage ended in 2006 in divorce

When Kelly moved to Washington DC in 2003, she was hired by The ABC affiliate WJLA-TV as reporter.
In this assignment, she used to cover significant local and national events

For 13 years, she worked for Fox News in between 2004 and 2017
In Fox, her reporting is used to focus on legal and political matters


In 2008,She married  married Douglas Brunt, who is a full time writer and novelist

She got huge public attention for her coverage of 2012 US Presidential election results


After returning from maternity leaves, she started hosting very successful nightly program 'The Kelly File' in 2013

In 2014, She was included in Time list of the 100 most influential people in the world


In order to grow further in her career,She left Fox News and joined NBC News in June 2017
