Hello Friends, Welcome to my channel Real Quick Info.
You can recall India along with Pakistan and have recently joined Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) on 9 June 2017 in Astana, Kazakhstan.

S C O is an political economic and security organisation.

The S C O is primarily centered on its member nations' security-related concerns, often describing the main threats it confronts as being terrorism, separatism and extremism.

Over the past few years the organisation's activities have expanded to include increased military cooperation intelligence sharing and counter terrorism.

After letting India become a member of this group, China has started realizing the mistake it has committed.

S C O has helped China in Improving the security and external environment of volatile western China.In fact China has been major beneficiary of this group.

As per opinion published in Chinese news paper Global Times  China is getting nervous, because of the strain in Indo China relationship, S C O will not be able to work properly and it will challenge to the security of volatile western China and it will negatively impact Chinese growth.

China is aware of how it has single handedly blocked India's entry into NSG.
By giving excuse of lacking of evidence, China blocked India's bid to add Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Masood Azhar to the UN Security Council's list of banned terrorists.
Doklam Standoff has caused irreparable damage to bilateral ties, Chinese unilateral action to start road construction and very irresponsible war threatening behavior have spoiled the bilateral relationship.


While trying to burn the bridge of friendship, China is now afraid that India may return the favor and block S C O initiatives favoring china.

Security cooperation among the S C O states have helped china to achieve stability and developmental growth in western China.
Now China sees India's presence in S C O as threat to peace and development in Western China. And mere the thought of India in S C O is giving them sleepless nights.


China must understand that India is fundamentally a peace loving nation and wants friendly relationship with all neighbors.
Under the leadership of Narendra Modi, India has gained the confidence to pay China in its own currency.
But China can rest assured, India will not be as irresponsible  and bullying neighbor as China is.
Now that India has become permanent member of S C O, rather than regretting on its mistake, China would do better to start focusing on improving the ties with India.

No matter how big a dispute is, China and India should not stop talking to each other. Dialogue based on mutual respect will provide solution of all the problems.
Unfortunately This time its China that has stopped talking and started setting preconditions for talk like India must withdraw troops before any talks can happen.
