जैसा कि आप जानते हैं इस महीने ऑस्ट्रेलिया की विदेश मंत्री जूली बिशप ने भारत की यात्रा की है.

हमेशा की तरह भारत की मीडिया इस यात्रा के जियो पॉलिटिकल महत्व को समझ नहीं पाई लेकिन चाइनीज मीडिया ने इस यात्रा को बड़े ध्यान से देखा.

 ऑस्ट्रेलियन विदेश मंत्री के अनुसार दोकलाम  विवाद लंबे समय से चले आ रहे भारत चीन सीमा विवाद का हिस्सा है और दोनों देशों को इस विवाद को शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से बातचीत के जरिए सुलझाना चाहिए।
इस प्रकार उन्होंने भारत की नीति का समर्थन किया और इससे चीन परेशान हो गया. भारत ने अपनी सेना दोकलाम के इलाके से पीछे नहीं हटाई, इसलिए चीन रोजाना भारत को युद्ध की धमकी देता रहता है ।
ऐतिहासिक रूप से ऑस्ट्रेलिया ने भारत की मित्रता को नजरअंदाज किया है.
लेकिन चीन के धमकाने वाले व्यवहार और साउथ चाइना सी में चीन के अतिक्रमण को देखकर ऑस्ट्रेलिया-भारत की तरफ दोस्ती की नजर से  देखता है ताकि भारत उसका चीन से मुकाबला करने में मदद कर सके.
भारतीय प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने सक्रिय होकर ऑस्ट्रेलिया के साथ सिक्योरिटी ऑपरेशन फ्रेमवर्क स्थापित कर लिया है.
और पहली बार ऑस्ट्रेलिया के पश्चिमी समुद्री तट पर भारत और ऑस्ट्रेलिया ने मिलकर पहला नौसैनिक अभ्यास भी अभी हाल ही में पूर्ण किया है.
ऑस्ट्रेलिया भारत की NSG में सदस्यता का समर्थन करता रहा है.ऑस्ट्रेलिया और भारत के बीच में शांतिपूर्ण उद्देश्यों के लिए सिविल न्यूक्लियर समझौता भी हुआ है.
ऑस्ट्रेलिया में यूरेनियम के दुनिया के सबसे बड़े भंडार हैं और ऑस्ट्रेलिया जल्द ही भारत को यूरेनियम का पहला शिपमेंट भेजने वाला है.
यह न्यूक्लीयर सहयोग भारत और ऑस्ट्रेलिया की मित्रता को और गहरा कर  देगा.
इस साल ऑस्ट्रेलिया मालाबार नौसैनिक अभ्यास में भी हिस्सा लेना चाहता था.
 लेकिन भारत और ऑस्ट्रेलिया के बीच में पहली बार इसी साल द्विपक्षीय नौसैनिक अभ्यास हुआ है और भारत चीन को और अधिक परेशान नहीं करना चाहता था. इसलिए भारत ने ऑस्ट्रेलिया के इस मालाबार नौसैनिक अभ्यास में भाग लेने से मना कर दिया.
 अमेरिका जापान और भारत के बीच हर साल होने वाले इस नौसैनिक अभ्यास में ऑस्ट्रेलिया को शामिल करने का विकल्प अभी भी खुला है और चीन को इस बात का ध्यान रखना चाहिए.
ऑस्ट्रेलिया अच्छी तरह से समझता है कि राष्ट्रवादी नेतृत्व  के कारण भारत आगे आने वाले समय में भी दुनिया का सबसे तेज गति से विकास करने वाला देश बना रहेगा.
इसलिए भारत और ऑस्ट्रेलिया के बीच में समुद्र पर आधारित आर्थिक संबंधों को और मजबूत किया जा सकता है.
दूसरी और ऑस्ट्रेलिया चाहता है की साउथ चाइना सी में काम करते समय चीन अंतर्राष्ट्रीय नियमों का सम्मान करें.
 इसके ठीक विपरीत चीन अपनी ताकत और अधिक दिखाने लगा है यहां तक कि चीन ने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ट्राइब्यूनल के साउथ चाइना सी में अपने खिलाफ ऑर्डर को  मानने से भी मना कर दिया.
इस पृष्ठभूमि में यह जरुरी हो गया है कि भारत और ऑस्ट्रेलिया अपने आर्थिक और सैन्य संबंधों को और मजबूती प्रदान करें.
इस दोस्ती को देखकर चीन स्वाभाविक रूप से इंडो, पेसिफिक रीजन में  अपने बेल्ट और रोड इनिशिएटिव को लेकर चिंतित है.
चीन को यह समझना होगा कि उसकी सभी पड़ोसी देश चीन के धमकाने वाले व्यवहार से चिंतित हैं.
 चीन को सभी को आदेश देने की आदत सी पड़ गई है.
इसलिए चीन को यह याद रखना चाहिए कि भारत अब सक्रिय हो गया है और चीन को अब भारत का सामना करना पड़ेगा.
 चीन को यह याद रखना चाहिए कि उसके लालच की एक सीमा होनी चाहिए.

- You know This month Australian foreign minister Julie Bishop visited India.
- As usual traditional Indian media failed to distinguish the importance of this geopolitical significant visit but Chinese Media took a serious note about it.
- As per visiting Australian Foreign minister, Doklam is part of long term dispute and both countries should try to settle this issue peacefully.
- Hence she endorsed Indian line and obviously irritated China, which daily war threatens India because Indian troops don't withdraw from Doklam region.
- Historically Australia has ignored relationship with India. but China's bullying nature and its tendency to encroach in international waters of South China Sea have forced Australia to look at India to help it in counterbalancing China.
- Under the leadership of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has proactively established security cooperation framework with Australia. and for the first time week long bilateral naval exercise has been recently conducted in west coast of Australia.
- Australia supports Indian entry in NSG. There is civil nuclear pact in between the two countries.
- Australia has the world's biggest Uranium reserves and first ever uranium shipment is going to arrive in India soon. This nuclear co-operation will elevate the strategic partnership to the next level.
Australia in fact wanted to join this year's Malabar exercise. Since bilateral naval exercise has just started this year and India didn't want to further irritate china, it rejected Australian participation in  India, Japan and US tri lateral naval exercise. But this option to include Australia in Malabar exercise is very much open and China should take a note of it.
Australia very well understands that under the nationalist regime India will continue to remain the fastest growing economy in the world. and there is possibility to increase sea based economic activity in between both the countries.
- On the other hand, Australia wants China to respect International laws while operating in South China Sea. But China is getting increasingly aggressive and it even out rightly rejects the South China sea related  international tribunal orders
- In this back drop, its very important that like minded India and Australia cement their ties and grow defense and economic relationship.
- Due to this partnership China is obviously getting worried about its Belt and Road initiative in Indo-Pacific region.
- China must realize that each of it neighbors is concerned about its bullying nature. If china believe that its in dictating position, It should remind itself that India is playing very proactive role now and it should be ready to encounter the friction.
China should understand that its greed must remain within the limit.
