Doklam विवाद के दौरान म्यानमार के सेना अध्यक्ष का आठ दिवसीय भारत दौरा बहुत महत्व रखता है,

भारतीय मीडिया में इस इवेंट को ज्यादा कवर नहीं किया है, लेकिन चाइनीज मीडिया ने इस पर बड़ा ध्यान दिया है और वह इस बात का अनुमान लगा रहे हैं कि यह यात्रा उनको कैसे प्रभावित करेगी.
म्यानमार एकमात्र आसियान देश है जो भारत के साथ जमीनी और समुद्री सीमा को शेयर करता है.भारत के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने यूपीए की लुक ईस्ट पॉलिसी को बदलकर एक्ट ईस्ट कर दिया है
इसके अंतर्गत भारत ने लगातार आसियान देशों के साथ अपने संबंध अच्छे करने पर ध्यान दिया है.एक्ट ईस्ट पॉलिसी के अंतर्गत भारत आसियान  देशों के साथ मिलकर काम करना चाहता है.

म्यानमार मैं चाइना के प्रभाव को कम करने के लिए यात्रा के बाद भारत लगातार म्यानमार को सैनिक सहायता देता रहेगा.
38 मिलियन डॉलर कि deal के अंतर्गत भारत म्यानमार को हल्के torpedoes की सप्लाई करेगा.
 इसी प्रकार से भारत म्यामार को अन्य सैन्य हथियार भी देगा और म्यांमार के साथ मिलकर जमीनी और समुद्री सीमाओं में गश्त लगाएगा और साथ ही भारत-म्यांमार में अपने युद्धपोत भेजेगा.

भारतीय सेना ने म्यांमार की सेना के साथ अपने संबंधों को अच्छा बनाया है ताकि म्यांमार सीमा पर आतंकवादियों की गतिविधियों पर नियंत्रण रखा जा सके.

आपको याद होगा की भारतीय सैनिकों को मणिपुर में विद्रोहियों ने मार दिया था इसके जवाब में जून 2015 में भारतीय पैरा कमांडोज ने म्यांमार के अंदर घुस कर दो विद्रोही समूहों के खिलाफ सीमा के उस पार बड़ी  सफल सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक की थी. स्वभाविक है की बिना म्यांमार की सरकार के समर्थन के इतनी बड़ी सफलता नहीं पाई जा सकती थी.

अब भारत मेकांग इंडिया इकोनॉमिक् कॉरिडोर के निर्माण में मदद भी कर रहा है जोकि म्यांमार थाईलैंड कंबोडिया और वियतनाम को जोड़ेगा.
इससे भारत साउथ चाइना सी में अपना प्रभाव बढ़ा पायेगा। साथ ही हिंद महासागर और पश्चिमी पैसिफिक समुद्र में भारत प्रभावी ढंग से अपना कार्य कर पाएगा.

अब म्यामार को समझ आ गया है कि उसे चीन पर अपनी अधिक निर्भरता को कम करना होगा और  अपने आर्थिक जरूरतों के लिए अन्य देशों से संबंध बनाने होंगे।

 अपने पड़ोसी देशों में संबंधों  के बदलने पर चीन को समझ आ गया है कि म्यामार  के साथ उसे अपना संपर्क मजबूत करना पड़ेगा और म्यामार को समझाना पड़ेगा कि चीन म्यामार  से  शांति और सहयोग चाहता है.ऐसी खबर चाइना  के अखबार ग्लोबल टाइम्स में छपी है.

भारत की आगे बढ़कर काम करने वाली एक्ट ईस्ट पॉलिसी के कारण चाइना को म्यांमार के साथ अपने संबंधों को परिवर्तित करना पड़ रहा है.
अच्छी बात यह है की मोदी जी  के नेतृत्व में भारत सभी चालें बहुत अच्छे से चल रहा है और चीन अब केवल प्रतिक्रिया देकर अपनी रक्षा कर रहा है.

- Amid Doklam standoff, the 8 days Indian visit of Myanmar military chief hold a lot of significance. Though Indian Media has neglected this visit, Chinese Media is carefully watching the key out comes of this trip and how these outcomes may impacts China.

- Myanmar is the only ASEAN member state that has both land and sea borders with India.  Since Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi changed UPA era, Look East  policy into the, the Act East policy, the country has worked incessantly to strengthen relations with ASEAN members in a dynamic and action-oriented way.

-After this trip,India will continue to increase military supplies to Mynmar to counter Chinese influence.

-As part of $38 Million deal, India will be supplying light weight torpedoes, additionally India will continuously provide a variety of arms equipment, patrol maritime border areas jointly with Myanmar, and dispatch warships to Myanmar's ports.

-Indian army has also stepped-up cooperation with Myanmar forces along the porous land border, to turn the heat on Indian insurgent groups operating in the region.

- You do remember, after 18 Indian soldiers were killed in an ambush in Manipur. In June 2015, Indian Para-commandos conducted a successful cross border surgical strikes  against two insurgent camps inside Myanmar. Its obvious, without active support of Myanmar government such strikes could not be conducted with remarkable success.

- Now India is also supporting the construction of the Mekong-India Economic Corridor to connect Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam and, at the same time, projecting its influence to areas surrounding the South China Sea to expand its strategic space from the Indian Ocean to the West Pacific.

- Myanmar has finally realized that enhancing ties with New Delhi will help minimize its over reliance on China and meanwhile diversify its economic portfolio.

- Seeing this flux in neighboring countries relationship , As per the news report published in Chinese news paper Global Times , China needs to communicate well with Maynmar that, China believes in peace and wants co-operation from Myanmar.
- As a result of Indian proactive Act east policy, China is effectively forced to reconfigure its ties with Myanmar.
- Good thing to notice here is, Under Modi, India is using its all cards well and China has been sent into reactive defensive mode.
- Hopefully, China will respect the rights of its all neighbors and stop forcing them to accept its bullying nature.
