दोस्तों 2011 की जनगणना के अनुसार, भारत में 80% आबादी हिंदू धर्म के लोगों की है, और 14% आबादी मुस्लिम धर्म में विश्वास करती है.
अभी हाल में ही चीन के अखबार में एक रोचक प्रश्न पूछा गया है, अन्य मुस्लिम देशों की तरह है, भारत के मुसलमान आतंकवादी गतिविधियों में बड़ी संख्या में शामिल क्यों नहीं हो रहे है?
लेखक के अनुसार, दक्षिणी फिलीपींस के शहरों में कट्टरपंथी विचारों से प्रभावित होकर मुसलमानों ने वहां पर बुरा वातावरण बना दिया है.
दक्षिणी थाईलैंड के शहरों में भी हर सप्ताह कोई ना कोई आतंकवादी घटना कट्टरपंथी मुसलमानों के द्वारा की जा रही है.
 Philippines Indonesia Malaysia southern Thailand southern Myanmar Bangladesh Pakistan और Central Asian countries को जोड़ते हुए एक रेखा खींची जाए, तो भारत को छोड़कर, अन्य सभी देशों में सामाजिक तनाव बहुत तेजी से बढ़ रहा है. सवाल यह है कि इसके पीछे कारण क्या है?
लेखक के अनुसार इसका एक महत्वपूर्ण कारण यह है ,कि भारत में हिंदू धर्म के मानने वाले लोगों का बहुमत है.
इसलिए भारत में आतंकवादी बहुत कम संख्या में बनते हैं, और भारत आतंकवाद के खिलाफ खड़ा होने की स्थिति में है.

यही कारण है, कि अमेरिका जापान रूस और अन्य यूरोपीय देश एशिया के बारे में अपने नीतियां तय करते समय भारत के बारे में ध्यान रखते हैं.
यह लेख भारत के कुछ हिंदुओं को पढ़ने में बहुत अच्छा लग सकता है.
लेकिन अभी तो वास्तविकता यह है कि अगर मुसलमान बड़ी संख्या में कट्टरपंथी नहीं बन रहे हैं, तो इसका पूरा श्रेय हिंदुओं को नहीं दिया जा सकता.
इसमें बहुत बड़ा योगदान मुस्लिम समाज का है, अभी भी भारत के मुसलमान धर्मनिरपेक्ष व्यवहार को मानते हैं, और भारत के संविधान में और कानून में विश्वास रखते हैं.
उदाहरण के लिए जब भारत के उच्चतम न्यायालय ने तीन तलाक को संवैधानिक रूप से अवैद्य करार दिया, तो भारतीय मुस्लिम समाज ने इस निर्णय का स्वागत किया.
हम सभी को अपने विचार रखने का पूरा हक है, लेकिन जब न्यायालय किसी निर्णय पर पहुंचते हैं, तो हमें उसका स्वागत करना चाहिए, उसका पालन भी करना चाहिए.
साथ ही हिंदुओं की तरह मुसलमानों में भी पूर्ण रूप से एकरूपता नहीं है. वह भी जातियों भाषाओं और क्षेत्रों में बटे हुए हैं. साथ ही भारत में हिंदू और मुस्लिम धर्मों के अलावा कई अन्य धर्मों के लोग भी रहते हैं.
शायद इन्हीं स्वाभाविक भिन्नताओं के कारण भारत के लोग आपसी भिन्नताओं की respect करना सीख जाते हैं.
इसलिए भारत के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महत्व और भारत के मुसलमानों के व्यवहार के पीछे हिंदू धर्म के लोगों के योगदान को कारण नहीं बनाया जा सकता.
लेकिन फिर भी भारत के हिंदुओं के मन में इस बात का डर रहता है, कि अगर भविष्य में कभी भारत में मुसलमान बहुमत में आ गए तो क्या होगा?
क्या भारत एक धर्मनिरपेक्ष राष्ट्र बना रहेगा?
क्या भारत इस्लामी आतंकवाद की आग में झुलस जाएगा?
क्या भारतीय संविधान को खतरा पैदा हो जाएगा?
इसलिए भारतीय मुसलमानों के लिए जिम्मेदारी है, कि उन्हें तय करना होगा कि चाहे कोई भी धर्म भारत में बहुमत का बना रहे, भारत में संविधान का पालन होते रहना चाहिए.
दोस्तों लेकिन यह सिर्फ एक आशा है, सत्य तो तभी पता चलेगा जब यह काल्पनिक परिदृश्य वास्तविकता में परिवर्तित होने लगेगा.

As per census of 2011, 80% of Indian Population belongs to Hindu religion and 14% belongs to Muslim religion .

An interesting question has been asked in Chinese newspaper's Article, Why Indian Muslims have remained largely apart from the radicalization that has happened to Muslim Groups in other parts of the world?

As per the views of author, "In the southern part of the Philippines, extremists backed by Islamic State have turned their occupied cities into horrible places. In southern Thailand, terror attacks staged by Muslim extremists take place almost every week."
If there is arc connecting,  Philippines Indonesia Malaysia southern Thailand southern Myanmar Bangladesh Pakistan and Central Asian countries.
There is social tension in all the countries except in India.  Why this is so?
Despite having so many religions, why India is not getting disintegrated?
As per author, one of the main reasons is , there is majority of Hindu religion in India.
Hence, there is lack of home grown Islamic extremists, and India has taken clear stand against terrorism.
Because of this, India has been taken into consideration by the US, Japan, Russia and European countries while finalizing their respective Asia policies.

This article may sound rather pleasing to many of Indian Hindus.
But Hindus can not be attributed for Indian Muslim not getting radicalized in large number.
The credit must go to Indian Muslim community as well , they have continued to pursue in Indian secular character, they believe in Indian constitution and rule of law.
For example - When Supreme court of India has termed Triple Talaq as constitutionally invalid, Indian Muslim community has welcome the judgement.
All are entitled to have their opinions but when courts deliver verdict, we should welcome and abide by it.

Just like Hindus, Muslims do not form a monolith.
These two major religion have inherent wealth of diversity based on Caste, Language, region, etc.
Besides these two major religions, There are other religions as well in India.
Perhaps, this diversity encourages Indians to respect the differences.

Hence, For global standing of India and for the behavior of Muslims in India, Hindu religion can not be held responsible.

Having said this, if we think of a hypothetical scenario, what will happen to India if Muslims achieve the Majority.
Will India cease to exist as secular nation?
Will India engulf itself into chaos of Islamic extremism?
Will there be threat to Indian constitution?
These are some of the questions, which generate a lot of anxiety and fear among Indian Hindus.
Hence, its responsibility of Indian Muslims to ensure that supremacy of Indian constitution is maintained regardless majority of any religion. lets be clear, this is hope, Truth will come out when this hypothetical scenario starts becoming reality.
