Hello Friends, Welcome to my channel Real Quick Info.

Today we will discuss about the recent article published in Chinese news paper South China Morning Post.

As you know, the Doklam dispute is not getting resolved by peaceful negotiations.

The probability of China attacking India is increasing with each passing day.

But as per Chinese estimation, they don't intend to make it full scale intense war.
The Chinese attack may be confined within disputed Doklam region.
This war may be some what similar to Kargil war. In which, Indian troops attacked on pakistan's soldiers to force them to vacate Indian posts, which they were occupying.

China is aware of Indian troops occupying the strategically advantageous locations around the doklam region.
Therefore Chinese ground forces will not attack but China will utilize its massive air force power deploying the aircraft and strategic missiles.
They hope, by this targeted attack, Indian army's mountain divisions will be paralyzed.
In such case, They will not be able to with stand Chinese onslaught for not more than 7 days.

However, China will control the attack and will not let it spill over into other disputed areas along the line of actual control.

Chinese strategic thinker perhaps think, India will retaliate as per Chinese expectation.

First of all, Indian ground troops and air force are fully ready, to face any eventuality in doklam region.

Moreover, once war breaks out, there is no guarantee that it will pan out as per Chinese plan alone.

India can also retaliate in the manner  of it's choice.

80% of crude oil, that china imports, passes across Indian ocean.
Indian navy may prevent Chinese crude oil carrying ships, thus cutting off Chinese energy supply route.

Chinese experts are well aware that now India has naval base in Adaman and Nicobar islands as well.
This naval base is close to strait of Malacca.
and can be leveraged to block Chinese ships.
Besides this naval base, India now has 8 Boeing P-8 Poseidon Multi mission Maritime Aircraft, which are very good at anti sub marine warfare.
These sub marine hunters are patrolling in Indian ocean to protect Indian interest in case of any emergency. China must be aware of this Indian capability.
India has learned a lot from 1962 defeat and has long been preparing itself for next Chinese attack.

Still, Peace is worth preserving, both countries should  try again to find peaceful resolution of this dispute.
But if China attacks India, It would be foolish to assume that everything will happen as  per Chinese war plan.
