We have heard many times China saying, there will be No impact on China even if all Indians stop buying cheap Chinese goods. That's fine.

Friends you know, USA is the largest Trading partner of China.
In last financial year 2016   USA exported to China, goods worth $115 Billion
While China exported to USA goods worth $462 Billion.
Hence, The united states of America has trade deficit of $347 Billion in 2016 alone.

In Simple words, last year China received $347 Billion American inflows.
To a great extent, Chinese prosperity is dependent on the exploitation of its trading partner America.
Please mind it, Behind the bullying nature of china, the real power comes from American Dollars.

Decline in Chinese export to India will not impact China, but if there is decline in Chinese export to America, China will see the stars in broad day light.
Amid Doklam standoff, China was busy issuing daily war threats to India. But on its own expense, China forgot to consider America in its scheme of things.

This week only, America fired first shot in the Trade war with China. The investigation into China's theft of US intellectual property has just started.
Though, there is no direct relationship in between Doklam stand off and US investigation, yet the timing matters most here.
Even a kid knows, how good Chinese are at copying and mass producing cheap goods. you can also predict the outcome of this investigation.
The start of this investigation sets off the alarms in China, sooner or later Chinese free run in American market is going to stop.

Basically, trade war fire has been opened to engage China where, it stands tall.
Lets talk about another incident, During last UPA regime, Indian government was not accepting the idea of closer Indo US relationship.
As Modi doesn't carry with him the burden of decade old irrelevant fears. For him, pragmatic India first policy, derives his all decision. Modi green flagged old American proposal to start new format of Indo US dialogue in between the foreign and defense ministers of both nations.
Here again, timing is of very essence.
Needless to say, Doklam standoff did push Modi to take a call on this. In a way, China has unknowingly pushed India towards America. Hence, China has only it's self to blame.
In the last, we want to talk about ambitious Chinese Belt and Road initiative. for a project of such massive scale, China needs friends not foes around.
No matter how much money china is ready to throw on constructing the infrastructural white elephants, Chinese exposed bullying nature is certainly early warning signal for all nations, who have recently joined One Belt one road initiative with a lot of fun fare.
Had China considered India as equal Friend rather than a dumb follower, it would have addressed Indian concerns and made India join  Belt and Road initiative.
Instead, On India's refusal to join this massive Chinese project, China launched psychological war to win Doklam dispute. The result is, the Indo China friendship has received the severe blow, which will be beyond repair for decades.
Anyways, We dont expect China to know the words of Indian wisdom.  when you can get the job done by being friends, why to make foes.
