हम सभी जानते हैं, कि चीन और पाकिस्तान बहुत ही गहरे मित्र हैं. हाल ही में इस बात की प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं, कि इस मित्रता को और गहरा किया जाए.
अब चीन और पाकिस्तान की मित्रता को नाटो अलायंस जैसा ही बनाने की कोशिश हो रही है. जिसमें अगर किसी एक देश के ऊपर हमला होता है, तो उसे संधि के सभी देशों के ऊपर हमला माना जाता है.
दूसरे शब्दों में अगर भविष्य में भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच में युद्ध हुआ, तो इस युद्ध में चीन अपने आप शामिल हो जाएगा. इस प्रकार भविष्य में भारत को किसी भी युद्ध में एक साथ चीन और पाकिस्तान दोनों से लड़ना होगा.
चीन और पाकिस्तान के बीच की इस मित्रता की पृष्ठ भूमि में हमें दोकलाम विवाद को देखना होगा.
China Pakistan Economic corridor के लिए चीन 60 बिलियन डॉलर का निवेश कर रहा है. यह कॉरिडोर चीन को एशिया और अफ्रीका के बहुत बड़े बाजार से जोड़ेगा.
इस कॉरिडोर को सबसे बड़ा खतरा बलूच लोगों से है. हाल ही में बलूच के बागियों ने दो चीन के नागरिकों का अपहरण कर लिया था, और उनको मार दिया था. अगर, बलूचिस्तान में असंतोष फ़ैल गया, तो चीन का यह पूरा प्रोजेक्ट गंभीर खतरे में फस जाएगा.
भारत के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी के नेतृत्व में भारत ने बलूचिस्तान के लोगों की तकलीफ से प्रभावित होकर, उन्हें नैतिक सहायता प्रदान की है, और भारत उनके साथ सहानुभूति भी रखता है. शायद चीन को यह बात पसंद नहीं आई.
China Pakistan Economic corridor का 400 किलोमीटर का रास्ता पाक अधिकृत कश्मीर से होकर गुजरता है. P O K भारत का एक अभिन्न हिस्सा है, जिस पर अभी पाकिस्तान कब्जा किए हुए हैं. फिर भी भारत की अनुमति लिए बिना, चीन ने पी ओ के में निर्माण कार्य शुरु कर दिया. इस प्रकार से यह China Pakistan Economic corridor Project भारत की संप्रभुता और क्षेत्रीय अखंडता को सीधी चुनौती है. इसीलिए भारत ने चीन के Belt and Road Initiative का विरोध किया है.
स्वाभाविक रूप से, भारत की यह मजबूत स्थिति चीन को पसंद नहीं है. वास्तव में वह भारत को एक पिछलग्गू राष्ट्र बनाना चाहता है, चीन भारत को एक मित्र की भांति नहीं देखता है.
भूटान के दोकलाम इलाके में चीन एक छोटी सी रोड बना रहा है, जब भारत ने इसका विरोध किया तो चीन गुस्सा हो गया, और अब हर रोज भारत को धमकी देता रहता है. अब चीन से यह सवाल पूछना चाहिए, कि वह बिना भारत की अनुमति के, पी ओ के क्षेत्र में रोड का निर्माण कर रहा है.  तो वह कैसे यह अपेक्षा रख सकता है, कि भारत प्रसन्न होकर चीन के इस प्रोजेक्ट को स्वीकार कर ले. यह कहने की जरूरत नहीं है, कि दोकलाम के इलाके में चीन को अपने कर्मों का फल भुगतना पड़ रहा है.

आप जानते हैं, कि पिछले वर्ष भारत ने पाकिस्तान में surgical strikes की थी. आज भी पाकिस्तान के आतंकवादी घुसपैठियों के खिलाफ भारत बहुत सावधान होकर जवाब दे रहा है. चीन को यह guarantee कोई नहीं दे सकता, कि आगे आने वाले भविष्य में भारत पाक अधिकृत कश्मीर पर अपना कब्जा करने की कोशिश नहीं करेगा. अब तो पी ओ के के स्थानीय नेता भी भारत के पक्ष में बात करने लगे हैं. इसलिए दूर गामी दृष्टि से देखने पर, पाक अधिकृत कश्मीर में चीन का निवेश सुरक्षित नहीं है.
जब भी पाकिस्तान की ओर से आतंकवादी घुसपैठ की कोशिश करते हैं, तो भारतीय सेना उन्हें मुंहतोड़ जवाब देती है.
कश्मीर घाटी के अंदर भी, आतंकवादियों को मारा जा रहा है. जैसे ही किसी आतंकवादी को समूह का नेता बना दिया जाता है, तो उसे भारतीय सुरक्षा बल सक्रिय रुप से कार्यवाही करके कुछ ही दिनों में उसे मार गिराते है.
इसलिए आज पाकिस्तान हताश हालत में आ गया है, तो चीन को पाकिस्तान की यह हालत पसंद नहीं आ रही है.
दोकलाम इलाके के अलावा, हाल ही में चीन के कुछ सैनिक लद्दाख के इलाके से भी भारतीय सीमा में घुस आए. भारतीय सेना ने इस घुसपैठ का विरोध किया. चीन के सैनिक इससे झल्ला गए. और उन्होंने भारतीय सैनिकों पर पत्थर फेंकना चालू कर दिया.
लद्दाख में अभी हाल में जो कुछ भी हुआ, उसे दोकलाम के विवाद से जोड़ कर देखना चाहिए.
ऐसा लगता है, चीन प्रयास कर रहा है, कि भारतीय सेना का पूरा ध्यान जो अभी तक पश्चिमी सीमा पर लगा हुआ था वह टूट जाए.
हाल के घटनाक्रम के कारण, भारत की दोनों पश्चिमी और पूर्वी सीमाओं पर संघर्ष चालू हो गया है.
लंबे समय तक चीन भारत को ऐसे ही छोटे-छोटे विवादों में उलझाए रखना चाहता है. जिससे China Pakistan Economic Corridor प्रोजेक्ट पर खतरे को कम किया जा सके, और चीन इस प्रोजेक्ट को समय पर खत्म कर पाए.

भारतीय सेना का ध्यान बांटने के प्रयास हमें समझ आ गए, लेकिन चीन को यह बात समझनी चाहिए, कि बहुत लंबे समय से भारतीय सेना चीन और पाकिस्तान दोनों से एक साथ लड़ाई करने के लिए तैयारी कर रही है.
भारत के लोग भी समझ दार हैं, एक और पड़ोसी दुश्मन के बढ़ जाने से कोई ज्यादा फर्क नहीं पड़ने वाला.
हाल ही में श्रीलंका का अनुभव बताता है, कि पाकिस्तान को चीन का कर्ज चुकाने में बड़ी दिक्कत का सामना करना पड़ेगा. यह संभव है, कि भविष्य में इस पूरे प्रोजेक्ट का अधिकार चीन के हाथों में चला जाए.
भारत के लोगों के बजाय, पाकिस्तान के लोगों को चीन की मित्रता और उसकी कर्ज देकर फसाने वाली कूटनीति के बारे में चिंता करनी चाहिए.

- We all know, there has been very close friendship in between China and Pakistan.
- There has been attempt to take this relationship from strategic to tactical level.
- The China Pakistan Military alliance is expected to acquire the core characteristic of NATO, which is that a conflict involving one of the parties will inevitably bring in the other.
- In simple words, it will mean, if there is any conflict in between India and Pakistan, China will also get involved in the conflict. In future, India will have to simultaneously fight with both China and Pakistan.
- In this background of relationship transformation, let’s look at the Doklam standoff.
- China is investing close to $60 Billion in building China Pakistan Economic corridor.
- This corridor will provide china access to vast Asian and African market.
- The major threat to this corridor is presented by Balooch rebels. Recently, two Chinese citizens have been abducted and murdered by them.
If Unrest in Baloochistan breaks out, the entire Chinese investment in the corridor project will be in severe danger. Under Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has publicly shown moral support and sympathy for the people of Baloochistan . Perhaps China in no way liked this Indian move.
- For around 400 Kilometers, The China corridor runs through Pakistan occupied Kashmir. the entire territory of P O K is integral part of India.
- Without even seeking any Indian permission, China started work on different projects in P O K. Since China Pakistan Economic corridor project is direct challenge to Indian territorial integrity and sovereignty, India decided to boycott Chinese Belt and Road Initiative.
- Of course, China didn’t like India standing firmly against Chinese interests after all they wanted India to be just a follower, rather than an equal friend.

- In doklam area of Bhutan , china is building motorable road, when India objected, China got furious and started issuing war threats.
Now China must be asked, how come it can build a major road project in P O K area and assume that India will happily support belt and road initiative. Needless to say, In Doklam china is getting bitter taste of its own medicine.

- You know, India has conducted surgical strikes last year in September. Right now, there is very aggressive Indian stance against Pakistan's infiltration attempts.
No one can provide guarantee to china, there will not be  any Indian attempt to get P O K under Indian control. Now,  even Local  P O K leaders have also started speaking favorably about India. therefore, Chinese investment in P O K area can not be termed as secure from long term perspective.

- Whenever Pakistan is breaking ceasefire to let terrorist infiltrate into Indian side, Indian armed forces are giving befitting response to Pakistan.
- In side the Kashmir valley, terrorist are being daily killed. As and when a new terrorist is declared as group leader, he is getting neutralized in a matter of days.
- Effectively Pakistan is standing in defensive posture, and China being the biggest stakeholder in Pakistan, doesn’t like this scenario.
-  In addition to Doklam standoff, Chinese soldiers tried to inflict incursion on Indian Side in Laddhak region. Unexpectedly, the incursion was resisted, Chinese soldiers got frustrated and started pelting stones against Indian troops, who were just protecting the mother land.
- This latest Laddhak incursion attempt should be viewed along with Doklam standoff.
- It looks to be Chinese attempt to divide attention of Indian armed forces, which has been concentrated on western border.
- With these two incident, India has its both western and eastern border on the boil now.
- The idea behind engaging India in such small incidents over long period of time, is to ensure that threat level for China Pakistan Economic Corridor project goes down and China will be able to complete this project as per the time line.

- Attempts to divide attention of Indian armed forces are fine, China should be aware of that India has long been preparing itself for two front war. We Indians are resilient enough to adjust to the reality of one more hostile neighbor.

- Recent Sri Lankan experience suggest, It will be very hard for Pakistan to pay back the Chinese loan. In the near future, China will end up getting right of this entire project.
- Rather than Indian Citizens, people of Pakistan should be more concerned about this project and Chinese debt trap diplomacy.
