Hello Friends, Welcome to my channel Real Quick Info.
Friends, In this video we begin with one recent incident.
When Vietnam started drilling for gas at the edge of China’s exclusive economic zone in the South China Sea.
China threatened to launch military action against Vietnam's outposts in the disputed islands.
Succumbing to Chinese psychological pressure, Vietnam government stopped drilling activity
Thus, China achieved the objective without firing a single bullet.
In this context, now you should look at the daily morning Chinese war threats.
As per India China Relationship expert Brahma Chellany,
"Despite China’s overall military superiority, it is scarcely in a position to defeat India decisively in a Himalayan war, given India’s fortified defenses along the border.
Even localized hostilities at the tri-border area would be beyond China’s capacity to dominate, because the Indian army controls higher terrain and has greater troop density.
If such military clashes left China with so much as a bloodied nose, as happened in the same area in 1967, it could spell serious trouble for Chinese President at the upcoming National Congress."
China says India didn't learn anything from 1962, even if that is true, why China is not learning from 1967.
To China's point, India did learn from 1962 and started giving Indian army the freedom to act in the event of war. There is no interference from political class and Indian armed forces are allowed to carry out the job under their established chain of command. Hence Indian armed forced can any day give tough fight to adversary.
When Narendra Modi became Indian Prime Minister, Chinese president happily visited India assuming that India would not challenge Chinese interest.
Perhaps China didn't do proper research on the background and Ideology of Narendra Modi
Now China is learning in hard way that India has a leader who can stand up for Indian interest. Who will proactively work together with other countries like America, Japan etc to ensure that Indian interest are not threatened.
All of this is enough to make China worried.
Friends you know, its not at all about China constructing a road in Doklam. China is trying hard to showcase itself as a victim here.
But fact remains, this whole dispute is Chinese artificial creation. Even before starting construction of road in Doklam Area, In May 2017 China was formally informed that it should avoid changing the status quo of the area unilaterally. Still China chose to move ahead, Its difficult how can China be both attacker and Victim at the same time.
Whole world is watching India, if Indian troops withdraw from the area, it will encourage Chinese tendency to encroach.
On the other hand, If India remains firm on the stand, India will set an example for all Chinese neighboring countries that are suffering from China.
In the end, we would like to remind Chinese friends the word of wisdom from Lao Tzu, who was ancient Chinese philosopher and writer.
“There is no greater danger than underestimating your opponent.”
