दोस्तों इस साल अप्रैल में सीरिया में रासायनिक हथियारों का प्रयोग करके आक्रमण किया गया था, इसमें 74 लोग मारे गए थे और 557 लोग गंभीर रुप से घायल हुए थे. इसके दौरान रासायनिक हथियारों को हवाई हमले में प्रयोग किया गया था.
अंग्रेजी के अखबार Times of India में छपी खबर के अनुसार ऐसी गोपनीय सूचना है, कि निकट भविष्य में आतंकवादी रासायनिक हथियारों से हवाई जहाज बस या ट्रेन के अंदर आक्रमण कर सकते हैं. इसके संबंध में गृह मंत्रालय ने सभी राज्यों को और सुरक्षा एजेंसियों को निर्देश जारी किए हैं, कि वह एयरपोर्ट बस स्टैंड ट्रेन और मेट्रो स्टेशन पर यात्रियों की और सामान की चेकिंग और निगरानी अच्छे से करें.
पारंपरिक आतंकवादी हमले की तुलना में रासायनिक हथियारों से हमला करना बहुत आसान होता है. यह हमला करने के लिए जिन रसायनों का प्रयोग किया जाता है वह हमें पास के हार्डवेयर स्टोर में भी मिल जाते हैं. इसके साथ ही रासायनिक हमला करने के लिए आवश्यक सामान जैसे केमिकल पाउडर कीटनाशक घर में प्रयोग करने वाले सफाई के सामान का भी प्रयोग किया जा सकता है.
अगर किसी बंद जगह पर  हानिकारक गैसों को छोड़ दीया जाए तो बहुत ज्यादा हानि हो सकती है.  उस जगह में बैठे हुए सभी लोग इससे मारे जा सकते हैं.
जबकि सुरक्षा एजेंसियां बड़े सावधान होकर ऐसे सभी सामान का निरीक्षण कर रही हैं, जिसके प्रयोग से हवाई जहाज  ट्रेन या बस में हानिकारक गैसों को छोड़ा जा सकता हैं. आइए हम चर्चा करते हैं, कि हम कैसे सावधान रह सकते हैं, और अपनी सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित कर सकते हैं.
अगर आप किसी बंद जगह पर हैं, और आपके सहयात्रियों की आंखों में पानी आ रहा है, आंखें लाल हो रही हैं, उन्हें असहज महसूस हो रहा है, या सांस लेने में दिक्कत आती है, तो संभावना है कि उस जगह पर रासायनिक हथियार का प्रयोग हुआ है.

इस स्थिति में अगर संभव हो, तो पता लगाने की कोशिश करें कि हानिकारक गैस किस दिशा से आ रही है. और जल्दी से कोशिश करें की उस बंद जगह से बाहर निकल जाएं.
ध्यान रहे, कि जब आप बाहर निकलने की कोशिश करें, तो उस दिशा में आगे ना बढ़े जिस दिसा से हानिकारक गैस के रिसाव की संभावना है.
आपको बता दें, की रासायनिक हथियारों में जो  गैस होती है, वह हवा की तुलना में भारी होती है. इसलिए वह हमेशा नीचे रहती है, आप इसका ध्यान रखते हुए हमेशा, ऊंचाई वाली जगह पर जाने की कोशिश कर सकते हैं.
जब आप दूर जाने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं, तो कृपया अपने सहयात्रियों को और Crew मेंबर्स को शोर मचा कर बता दें, कि रासायनिक हमला होने का खतरा है.
अगर आपकी आंखों से पानी आ रहा है, और त्वचा पर जलन महसूस हो रही है, और सांस लेने में दिक्कत आ रही है, तो इसका मतलब है, रासायनिक हथियार ने आपको प्रभावित कर लिया है.
अगर आपको ऐसा लगता है, तो आप तुरंत कपड़े उतार कर पानी से नहा लीजिए.
आसपास पानी का जो भी स्रोत हो, वहां जाकर अगर साबुन उपलब्ध है, तो बिना रगड़े रसायन को हटाने की कोशिश कर सकते हैं.
 अगर पानी उपलब्ध नहीं है, तो आप टेलकम पाउडर या आटे का इस्तेमाल करके भी रसायन के प्रभाव को कम कर सकते हैं.
जहां पर भी आपको दिक्कत हो रही है, उस जगह पर टेलकम पाउडर या आटे को छिड़क दें, और 30 सेकंड के बाद साफ कपड़े से  पाउडर या आटे को हटा दें.
अगर आपको रसायन की बदबू आ रही है, तो आप अपने मुंह और नाक, को मास्क से या रुमाल से अच्छे से ढक सकते हैं.
साथ ही अगर आपके हाथ या पैर पर कपड़े नहीं है.  तो पूरे कपड़े पहन लीजिए. और अगर शरीर पर कोई जख्म है, तो उसको भी कवर कर लीजिए.
साथ ही इस आपातकाल के समय पर डॉक्टर की सहायता लेना ना भूले.
हम आशा करते हैं, कि आपको कभी भी रासायनिक हथियारों का सामना ना करना पड़े. लेकिन आपको सावधान रहने की जरूरत है, आपको चाहिए कि आपके दोस्त और रिश्तेदार भी इन महत्वपूर्ण तरीकों के बारे में अवगत हो.

You may recall, in April this year,in Syria  74 people were killed and more than 557 people were injured in Chemical attack . in which Toxic gas as part of chemical weapon agent has been released in the air strike.

As per news report published in Times of India, responding to intelligence inputs that terrorist may launch chemical attack by releasing toxic gases in air craft and other modes of public transport, Union home  Ministry has released alert to all states and security agencies to step up frisking and baggage checks at airports bus stands and train and metro stations.

In comparison to conventional terrorist attacks, conducting chemical attacks is rather easy by creating toxic gases from materials easily available at near by hardware stores, or from easily produced materials including chemical powders, pesticides, acids and water, disguised as medication, food, beverages or household cleaners .

if these toxic gases are released in enclosed space like air plane, bus or train, they present greatest hazard and may end up killing all the passengers.

While security agencies are looking out for any substance that could be used to release deadly toxic gases on aircraft, lets talk how we can remain vigilant and ensure our own safety.


If you are in an enclosed area and few of your co passengers start showing symptoms like watery eyes, twitching, choking, having trouble breathing or losing coordination, There is possibility of chemical attack.

In such case, if possible, quickly try to figure out from where the chemical agent vapors are coming and take immediate action to get away.
While getting away, don't pass through contaminated area or source of chemical agent.
Please note, Many likely chemical warfare agents are heavier than air and would tend to stay close to the ground. Please be mindful of this while moving away from the source.

While moving away, please raise alarm so that all passengers and crew members are made aware of such threat.

If your eyes are watering, your skin is stinging, and you are having trouble breathing, you may have been exposed to a chemical.
If you think you may have been exposed to a chemical, strip immediately and wash.
Look for a hose, fountain, or any source of water, and wash with soap if possible, being sure not to scrub the chemical into your skin.
If water is not available, talcum powder or flour are also excellent means of decontamination of liquid agents. Sprinkle the flour or powder liberally over the affected skin area, wait 30 seconds, and brush off with a rag or gauze pad.
If you smell chemical vapors, please cover your mouth and nose. If gas masks are not available, use a surgical mask or a handkerchief.
please Cover bare arms and legs and make sure any cuts or abrasions are covered or bandaged.

and Seek emergency medical attention.

Hopefully, you don't get caught in any chemical attack, but please remain vigilant and make sure your relatives and friends are aware of such critically important ways.
Mind it, the vigilance in initial few minutes may end up saving many precious lives.
