आप जानते हैं अमेरिकी रक्षा सचिव की भारत यात्रा के दौरान, यह बात फिर से दोहराई गई, कि अफगानिस्तान में शांति की स्थापना के लिए भारत अपने सैनिक वहां पर नहीं भेजेगा.
अभी हाल ही में राष्ट्रपति ट्रम्प ने भी ये सवाल किया था, की भारत अफ़ग़ानिस्तान में लड़ाई क्यों नहीं लड़ रहा है?
हमारे एक दर्शक ने यह पूछा, कि आखिर भारत अपनी सेना क्यों नहीं भेज रहा है, इसलिए हमने इस प्रश्न पर रिसर्च करके, यह वीडियो बनाया है.
अफगानिस्तान को 'Graveyard of Empires' या 'विश्व शक्तियों के कब्रिस्तान' के रूप में भी जाना जाता है. इसका कारण यह है, कि एक के बाद एक दुनिया के शक्तिशाली देशों ने यहां पर शासन करने की भरपुर कोशिश की, लेकिन किसी को भी सफलता हाथ नहीं लगी.
300 साल पहले ब्रिटेन 1839, से 1842 के बीच चले युद्ध में परास्त हुआ था, कुछ दशकों पूर्व सोवियत यूनियन के साथ यहां पर क्या हुआ, यह आपको अच्छी तरह से पता होगा.
वह न केवल युद्ध हारा बल्कि सोवियत यूनियन भी टूट गया. अबकी बारी अमेरिका की है, 17 बरस से वह अफगानिस्तान में युद्ध लड़ रहा है.
पहले अमेरिका चाहता था, कि वह अफगानिस्तान से अपने सैनिक वापस बुला ले. लेकिन उसे समझ में आ गया, कि अगर सैनिकों को अफगानिस्तान से हटाया गया, तो वास्तव में यह अमेरिका की हार होगी.
इसलिए ट्रंप प्रशासन के दौरान अमेरिका अफगानिस्तान में और सैनिक भेजने का निर्णय 2 वर्ष पूर्व लिया था .
साधारण से शब्दों में, अगर अचानक से अमेरिका के सैनिकों ने अफगानिस्तान को छोड़ दिया, तो इसका मतलब होगा अमेरिका के सैनिकों के द्वारा अफगानिस्तान में दी गई सारी कुर्बानियां बेकार ही चली जाएंगी.
भारत की यात्रा खत्म करने के बाद, पिछली बार अमेरिकी रक्षा सचिव जब काबुल पहुंचे, तो हवाई अड्डे पर उनका गर्मजोशी से स्वागत तालिबान ने रॉकेट से हमला करके किया.
जबकि इतिहास हमें साफ-साफ बता रहा है, कि कई सारे शक्तिशाली देशों का विनाश अफगानिस्तान से ही शुरू हुआ था.
इसलिए इस बात में कोई अकलमंदी नहीं होगी, कि भारत उसी गलती को दोबारा दोहराए.
कुछ समय के लिए चलिए हम इतिहास को भूल जाते हैं. आपको पता होगा कि अफगानिस्तान का कोई समुद्री तट नहीं है, इसलिए यहां पर सैनिकों को भेजना तो आसान है, लेकिन सैनिकों की मदद के लिए जरूरी हथियार, गोला बारुद और खाने पीने का सामान भेजने के लिए भारत के पास कोई रास्ता नहीं है.
यहां तक कि अपने सैनिकों तक आपूर्ति का सामान पहुंचाने के लिए, अमेरिका अभी भी पाकिस्तान के ऊपर निर्भर है.
ईरान, जो हाल फिलाल में भारत का मित्र बन गया है, वह भी अफगानिस्तान तक सामान पहुंचाने के लिए भारत को रास्ता नहीं देगा. ईरान के लिए किसी भी प्रकार से अपने शत्रु अमेरिका की परोक्ष रूप से मदद करना सबसे कठिन काम होगा.
अगर हम मान लेते हैं, कि भारत के सैनिक अफगानिस्तान में भेज दिए जाते हैं, और उनको सामान भेजने के लिए रास्ता भी मिल जाता है.
फिर भी भारतीय सैनिकों की उपस्थिति मात्र से अफगानिस्तान की जटिल समस्या और अधिक जटिल हो जाएगी.
जब पाकिस्तान अमेरिका को अफगानिस्तान में युद्ध जीतने नहीं दे सकता है, इस बात में कोई संदेह नहीं है, कि वह भारतीय सैनिकों के काम में रुकावट डालने की भरपूर कोशिश करेगा.
इस बात में कोई शक नहीं है, कि भारतीय सैनिक दुश्मनों को करारा जवाब देंगे. लेकिन यह एक ऐसा युद्ध है, जिसका कोई अंत अभी दिखाई नहीं दे रहा है.
साथ ही पाकिस्तान से प्रायोजित आतंकवादी अपनी पूरी शक्ति के साथ भारत के खिलाफ कार्यवाही करेंगे, और इस आपस की लड़ाई का अफगानिस्तान को भी नुकसान उठाना पड़ेगा.
लड़ाई में स्वाभाविक रूप से, भारतीय सैनिकों की जिंदगी जाने का भी डर रहेगा, और यह युद्ध समाप्त होता हुआ भी नहीं लग रहा है.
अगर देखा जाए, तो खुद अमेरिका को इस बात का पता नहीं है, कि वह अफगानिस्तान की समस्या का स्थाई समाधान किस रूप में और कैसे चाहता है .
अमेरिका ने यह समस्या खुद पैदा करी है, और वह अब एक ऐसी लड़ाई लड़ रहा है, जिसका कोई अंत नहीं दिख रहा है.
वैसे भी अफगानिस्तान की समस्या का समाधान निकालने के पहले ,अमेरिका को यह क्षमता चाहिए कि वह अपने दोस्त और दुश्मन की पहचान कर पाए. अगर अमेरिका अपने वास्तविक दुश्मन को नहीं पहचान पाएगा, तो अमेरिका का अफगानिस्तान में जीतना बड़ा मुश्किल है.
भारत के सामने पहले ही कई सारी समस्याएं खड़ी हुई हैं, इसलिए हमें और समस्याओं की जरूरत नहीं है.
अगर अफगानिस्तान में शासन कोई कर सकता है, तो वह वहां की जनता है. इसलिए भारत वहां पर सामूहिक विकास के 116 प्रोजेक्ट पर काम कर रहा है.
भारत ने $3 Billion की आर्थिक सहायता देने का भी वादा किया है. साथ ही भारत ने अफगानिस्तान की थल और वायु सेना को प्रशिक्षण भी दिया है और भारत उनको आधुनिक हथियार भी दे रहा है.
पिछले एक दशक से भारत और अफगानिस्तान के बीच में संबंध बहुत अच्छे हैं, और यह संबंध मजबूत बना रहना चाहिए.
यह बात बिल्कुल साफ है, कि अफगानिस्तान में भारत की रणनीति काम कर रही है. इसलिए इसका कोई कारण नहीं है, कि भारत को अपनी रणनीति में बदलाव करना चाहिए.
भारत अगर रणनीति में परिवर्तन कर भी देता है, तो उससे कुछ होने वाला नहीं है.
इसलिए इसमें भलाई नहीं है, कि हम ऐसी लड़ाई लड़े जिसमें हारना तय है. सबसे बड़ी बात यह है, कि भारत अफगानिस्तान को उस प्रकार की मदद कर रहा है, जिस प्रकार की मदद की उसे जरूरत है.
अमेरिका भारत से अपेक्षा कर सकता है, लेकिन भारत प्राथमिकता उन चीजों को देगा, जिनकी जरूरत और अपेक्षा अफगानिस्तान के मित्रों को है.

Friends, you know during the visit of American defense secretary, India has once again confirmed , no Indian troop is going to assist in establishing the peace in Afghanistan.
One of our viewers asked us to create a video on why India is not sending troops in Afghanistan. Hence, we have done research and created this video.
You might know, Afghanistan is also known as 'Graveyard of Empires'.
Because nation after nation have failed to pacify and govern the territory of Afghanistan.
Talking about last 300 years, British lost war in Afghanistan in between 1839-1842.
Few decades Ago, you all know what happened in Soviet Afghan War, Not only soviet union got defeated but it got disintegrated as well.
Now, it time for America to concede that it has effectively failed to win in last 17 years.
American wanted to withdraw its troop from Afghanistan but it had to realize that such decision will culminate in the American defeat in Afghanistan.
Hence Under Trump administration, America is again sending troops to Afghanistan. In simple words, asking american troops to leave Afghanistan will mean all american blood sacrificed there will go in vain.
After Indian visit, American defense secretary landed in Kabul, Taliban rockets hit the Kabul airport to provide him very warm welcome.
Since, we have such rich history about empires getting buried into graveyard in Afghanistan, why India will commit the same mistake?
lets for a moment, we forget the history.
Afghanistan is land locked country, sending troops may be easiest thing to do, maintaining the logistical supply will be nightmare for India.
Even America is dependent on Pakistan to maintain supply to American troops deployed on Afghan soil.
Even Iran, which of late is getting friendly with India, will not provide any help in Indian military intervention and It would be last thing for Iran to help their Enemy America in Afghanistan.
now lets assume, India has deployed troops and somehow manages to get supply routes as well.
Even then, Indian troops will simply complicate already complicated problem.
When Pakistan didn't let America win Afghanistan , There is no reason to believe that it will let Indian troops complete the job.
Indian forces are capable enough to respond, but getting into war without an end will make India a loser.
Moreover, Pakistan sponsored terrorist will unleash their full might against India and Afghanistan will receive the collateral damage.
Indian troops will end up sacrificing their lives with no clear winner. As a matter of fact, Even America is not clear what kind of long lasting solution they want in Afghanistan.
America has created the mess and facing the great Afghan graveyard of empires. Before looking for solution, America needs to have the basic capability to distinguish friend and enemy.
As long as they fail to identify the real enemy, they will fail to win as well.
We all know, Indian plate is already full with problems, hence we should not invite more.
If there is anyone who can govern Afghanistan, those are people of Afghanistan.
hence, India is getting involved in 116 community development program and providing $3 Billion aid to them.
Moreover, India has role in training the Afghan ground and air forces and equipping them with modern weapon systems.
In fact, India is doing this very well over last one decade, the engagement at this level should happen more.
there are clear evidence, this strategy is working. Hence, there is no reason to change it now.
More over, even if India changes, its confirm India cannot even help in winning there. Hence, why to fight a war, you are bound to lose.
Besides all this, Indian help will be according to what Afghanistan really seek from us. Its bilateral friendly relationship. Whatever America may expect India to do in Afghanistan, for India priority will be to meet the expectation of friends in Afghanistan.
