Hello Friends, I welcome you with a new video on my channel Real Quick Info.
As you know, In the recent change in the South Asia policy, America wants India to assume major role contributing to the development of Afghanistan.

As expected, Pakistan got alarmed with this change, and Pakistan's prime minister has gone to the extent that India has Zero Role in Pakistan. He can say whatever he wants. by the way, who gave him the right to determine Indian role in Afghanistan? he should figure out it first.

With change in American strategic policy, Indian stature in this entire region has started growing.

US defense secretary James Mattis is scheduled to visit India in this week to discuss further, how India can contribute more to the stability, peace and prosperity in Afghanistan.

With in domestic economic constraints, India has already extended $3 Billion aid to Afghanistan and going to work on 116 high impact community development projects there.
For example, India will help in setting up water supply project for the Afghan capital Kabul.

With India gaining larger role in Afghanistan, China has also taking note of Indian moves.

the advice coming from china is, India should not help in the development of Afghanistan with a view to respond to Chinese help to Pakistan.

Rather India should work with China for unleashing the potential of Afghanistan in triangular co-operation framework.

If you remember, similar approach is being suggested from Russian side as well, with change in American policy, Russia and China see new opening for them to grow their influence in Afghanistan behind India.

The satisfying one thing is, Indian role has gained focus, and depending on which path India chooses here will decide the response from China and Russia.
Hence, India is assuming leadership role here.

China wants to work with India to help Afghanistan, Instead China will do biggest help to Afghanistan if it can convince its dear friend Pakistan to stop supporting Taliban and Haqqani network.

One of the reason of Chinese anxiety is, Indian role in Afghanistan may be long term threat to its investment in  China Pakistan economic corridor.

 But no country should have any suspicion about Indian role in Afghanistan.  Indian role is just to assist afghan people realize their dream.

Still there is fear, that countries in this region will end up splitting in two camps, with one camp siding with the US, India and Afghanistan and the other siding with China, Pakistan and Russia.

Such camps will certainly make matter worse for already troubled Afghan region.

Lets be clear, India is not going to become part of any group. Whosoever wants to contribute positively is welcome but India is not going to provide shoulder to Russia or China to fire at America in Afghanistan.

Moreover, America is not offering larger Indian role out of generosity. India has earned good will among the people of Afghanistan after years of positive contribution. Its just that, America has now started realizing that Indian approach has been right and India should be welcomed in whatever role it wants to play.

Just because American president has changed his Afghan policy, it doesn't mean, India should also change. We have consistent policy and there is no reason to change it to suit the American, Russian or Chinese interests. The interests of Afghanistan matter most for India.
