Hello Friends, I welcome you with a new video on my channel Real Quick Info.
Thanks to the 10 years of last U P A regime, China has gone much ahead of India in the infrastructural development of African nation.

Clever China has given away loans to African nations at 6 to 8 %  interest rate.
Amid global slowdown, it will be really difficult for poor African countries to service these Chinese loans.
Learning from Sri Lankan experience, African nations don't want to fall in to Chinese debt trap and want to balance Chinese influence in the their natural resource rich countries.

Unlike the past, These countries are not going to remain supplier of cheap raw commodities to industrial nations, only to buy expansive finished product from them.

But Chinese Infrastructure is being developed to make it easier for China to carry raw material from Africa to China and to transport manufactured goods from China to Africa.

Even if the good infrastructure, makes transport of raw material and finished goods cheaper, The African nations will continue to remain poor  with this approach.

On the other hand, For such project construction activities ,  Majority of workers come from China.
First of all, Chinese companies treat their own countrymen, working on these project,  like slaves .
No wonder, they will be treating the local African people even worse.
 You tell, will local people first expect their job being stolen by Chinese workers,  and second will they like to be treated like slaves?
The simple answer is, No.

Second important fact is, Chinese companies are exploiting local marine, mineral and agricultural resources.
For example, over fishing activity by Chinese companies is going to negatively impact local African economies . Obviously, income of fisherman will get reduced and they will pushed to live in poverty.

Though similar symptoms are visible around China Pakistan Economic corridor, but we know, Pakistan has effectively closed its eyes.

Africa is slowly waking up against the threat of Chinese imperialism and preferring  Asia Africa Growth Corridor project over Chinese Belt and Road Initiative.

India and Japan are collaborating to build only commercially viable public assets. The ownership of the asset will remain with the people of host country.
And India and Japan are not going to dictate to host country. Each one  of them is going to be treated as equal partner, and as collaborator India and Japan will help them in fulfilling their own dreams, rather than making them vehicle of fulfilling Indian and Japanese dreams.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, In 2015 India has promised $10 Billion line of credit for the development of Africa.

This proactive Indian policy is being noticed and appreciated by African nations.

Hence, African people and governments have started preferring Indian model over Chinese model.
