We all know, how China Pakistan Economic corridor negatively affects Indian Sovereignty and Territorial integrity related concerns.

First of all, This corridor is not just about a road cutting across Indian Territory, which is rightnow occupied by Pakistan. it intends to rapidly modernize Pakistan by construction of energy projects and special economic zones.

As per article published in Chinese news paper Global Times, The India Pakistan dispute is one of the reason behind the backwardness of Pakistan occupied Kashmir.

China is rapidly building Hydro power projects in this region to solve the problem of shortage of expansive power.
It is believed that such projects will help in the economic development of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.

As per Chinese expert of this article, this economic progress in the region will help in resolving the dispute in between India and Pakistan.

And looking at the progress brought by Chinese corridor, India will also join it in the long term.

Though this looks very optimistic, but it doesn't look possible for us.

India should not have problem if the life standards of people living in Pakistan occupied Kashmir is improved.

The problem is, Kashmir Dispute is bilateral issue and by getting involved in infrastructural projects, China automatically becomes stakeholder in the resolution. Rather than solving the problem, it just complicates it more.

The first condition for any dispute resolution is to maintain the status quo, if you start changing it and making things favorable for yourself, you are not helping in finding the solution at all.

Moreover The importance of economics, China should teach to its dear friend Pakistan, so that Pakistan sponsored terrorist don't at least burn schools in Kashmir.

During the regime of Congress parties, It used to  be Indian approach to let economic  and people to people relationship in between India and Pakistan grow. The idea was, these relationships would end up helping the dispute resolution of Kashmir.

Time has taught the hard lesson to India, this strategy doesn't work at all.

Hence, if This approach didn't work in the past, nothing has changed on the ground, the question is, why this approach will work now??

Moreover, if development of any region helps in dispute resolution, China should not have any problem whatsoever when India takes Japan's help in infrastructural development in Arunachal Pradesh.

China cannot have one set of rules for Pakistan Occupied Kashmir and another set of rules for Arunachal Pradesh.

If China is serious in resolution of Kashmir dispute, China will do better in persuading Pakistan to stop terrorism against India. If China does this small act, it will be real help.

The last point is, For the backwardness of the entire Kashmir, if there is anyone who is responsible, that is Pakistan not the dispute in between India & Pakistan.
