आपको पता होगा, 41 मुस्लिम देशों ने मिलकर वर्ष 2016 में Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition की स्थापना की थी.

इस महत्वपूर्ण नियुक्ति से आप बड़े ही आसानी से समझ सकते हैं, इस गठबंधन का मुख्य उद्देश्य सिर्फ आतंकवाद से लड़ना नहीं है. वैसे भी आतंकवादी संगठनों का पालन-पोषण पाकिस्तान के द्वारा किया जाता है, यह बात सबको मालूम है.
रोचक बात यह है, इस संगठन में शामिल 41 देशों में सुन्नी सरकारों का शासन है. दोस्तों, इस संगठन में ईरान सीरिया और इराक जैसा कोई भी देश शामिल नहीं है, जिसमें शिया सरकार का शासन है.
इस प्रकार ऐसा लगता है, इस गठबंधन के पीछे सऊदी अरब मुस्लिम समाज का नेतृत्व हासिल करना चाहता है, ताकि वह मजबूती के साथ शिया सरकार प्रशासित ईरान जैसे अपने दुश्मन से निपट सके.
क्योंकि पाकिस्तान को इस गठबंधन में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका प्राप्त हुई है, इसलिए वह ईरान के साथ मजबूती के साथ मोलभाव करने की हालत में आ गया है.
इस बात में कोई आश्चर्य नहीं है, पाकिस्तान ने ईरान को आश्वासन दिया है, कि वह इस गठबंधन की ऐसी किसी कार्यवाही में हिस्सा नहीं लेगा, जिसका उद्देश्य इरान के खिलाफ कार्यवाही करना है.
इसके बदले में, ईरान ने भी पाकिस्तान को आश्वासन दिया है, कि वह निश्चित करेगा, कि भारत उसकी जमीन का उपयोग पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ कोई गतिविधि करने में ना करे.

इसलिए आगे आने वाले भविष्य में पाकिस्तान ईरान पर दबाव बनाएगा, कि वह भारत के लिए परेशानियां खड़ी करे.
दोस्तों, अफगानिस्तान तक पहुंचने के लिए हमें दिक्कतों का सामना करने के लिए तैयार रहना होगा. भविष्य उतना अच्छा नहीं है, जैसा हमें प्रतीत हो रहा था.
इस वर्ष, ईरान ने कई बार चीन पाकिस्तान इकोनॉमिक कॉरिडोर में शामिल होने की अपनी इच्छा व्यक्त की है. हाल ही में, ईरान और पाकिस्तान सहमति पर पहुंचे हैं, जिससे ग्वादर और चाबहार बंदरगाह साथ मिलकर काम कर पाएंगे.

हालांकि ऐसा होने की संभावना अभी बहुत कम प्रतीत होती है, लेकिन अकल मंदी इसी बात में होगी, की हम अपनी वैश्विक रणनीति तय करते समय, इस संभावना को दरकिनार ना करें.
वैसे ईरान चीन पाकिस्तान इकोनॉमिक कॉरिडोर में शामिल हो या ना हो, इससे हमें कोई मतलब नहीं होना चाहिए.
भूटान के अलावा, वैसे भी भारत के अन्य सभी पड़ोसी देश चीन के बेल्ट एवं रोड इनिशिएटिव में शामिल हो चुके हैं.
अगर कल ईरान भी चीन पाकिस्तान इकोनॉमिक कॉरिडोर में शामिल हो जाता है, तो भारत के लिए तब तक डरने की कोई बात नहीं है, जब तक पाकिस्तान की दबाव में आकर इरान भारतीय हितों को नुकसान पहुंचाने की कोशिश नहीं करता है.
दोस्तों, वैश्विक राजनीति का यह बड़ा ही रोचक खेल है. इसमें हर देश दूसरे देश की शक्ति को संतुलन में रखने का प्रयास करता रहता है. इसलिए हमारे लिए तो सलाह यह होगी, की हम चाबहार बंदरगाह के बारे में जरूरत से ज्यादा खुश ना हो.
हमें तो बड़े सजग होकर देखना होगा कि हमारे दुश्मन देश जमीन पर कौन सी चाल चल रहे है, ताकि समय पड़ने पर हम उन्हें उपयुक्त करारा जवाब दे सकें.
कम से कम ऐसा नहीं होना चाहिए, कि जहां आज हम चाबहार बंदरगाह के 15 वर्षों के बाद चालू होने का जिम्मेदार इरान के ऊपर अमेरिका के आर्थिक प्रतिबंधों को ठहराते हैं, वही कल चीन और पाकिस्तान मिलकर चाबहार बंदरगाह से होकर अफगानिस्तान तक जाने का रास्ता भारत के लिए रोक दें, तो हम चीन पाकिस्तान को दोष देते रह जाएं.

Now, by this significant appointment you can easily figure out, terrorism alone is not the sole target here, because Pakistan's role in providing safe heavens to terrorism is kind of open secret.
Interestingly, all countries in this coalition are having sunni dominated governments.
Yes, this alliance doesn't include any countries with Shia dominated government such as Iran, Iraq and Syria.
Friends, this coalition is a part of Saudi Arabian efforts to take a leading role in the middle east and Muslim world in the rivalry with Shia dominated Iran.
the important role of Pakistan in Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition awards Pakistan with strong bargaining power while dealing with Iran.
No wonder, Pakistan gave firm assurances to Iran that it would not become part of any initiative of this coalition which would target Iran.

Though Indian use of Cha bahar port is not against any country, yet Pakistan perceives any significant Indian role in Afghanistan against its core interests.
Hence, please expect Pakistan pressurizing Iran to create problems for India in different projects there.

This year, Iran has multiple times openly shown its keen desire to join China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
In fact, In between Iran and Pakistan, a memorandum of understanding has already been signed to ensure Cha bahar and Gwadar ports complement each other.
Since Saudi Arabia is also inclined to join China Pakistan Economic corridor, Pakistan may look for central leading role in bridging the gap in between Iran and Saudi Arabia, if both of them take part in China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
Obviously, If Pakistan plays such role successfully, its position in Muslim world will get major boost.
Though there are very less chances of this happening anytime soon, yet we would be wise not to discard its possibility, while shaping up our Geo political strategy.
by the way, whether Iran joins China Pakistan Economic corridor or not, its none of our business.
Except Bhutan, all of our neighbors have already joined Chinese Belt and Road initiative.
If tomorrow, Iran also joins it, it should not be seen as major threat to Indian interest, as long as Under pressure from Pakistan, Iran doesn't create problem for India.
