You might have heard, Pakistan Army chief recently supporting the civilian government if there are peace talks with India.
These words seem to have been spoken after the sudden realization, that issues with India can be resolved only through talks instead of war.
In India, we have a large number of pro Pakistan intellectuals, who lapped these words, and in their editorials, prematurely start asking Indian government to respond positively to Pakistan Army Chief.
These intellectual without any intellect have guts to ask Indian government to talk to Pakistan, even if there is substantive risk of next terrorist attack.
More surprisingly , Indian Director General of Military operation has last week told his Pakistani counterpart, about the possible disconnect in between its Army Head quarters at Rawalpindi and its troops on the ground along the line of control.
As far as we think, This assumption of disconnection doesn't hold the ground, that without any provocation, local troops can resort to cease fire violation and heavy firing in autonomous fashion.
Yes friends, it appears to be well thought out strategy to say something and do exactly opposite. Hence, there is absolutely no point of talking to those, whose words and actions have never matched in the past.
Rather its foolish to expect Pakistan army to walk the talk.
In this back ground, you might know, Pakistan's Border Action Team, or BAT infiltrated almost 400 meters across the line of control to mount attack on Indian patrolling party.
In this BAT strike, India lost its four brave soldiers.
Just to remind you, In the month of may this year, Pakistani BAT set up an ambush more than 250 meters deep inside Indian territory to lauch pre planned attack on Indian troops.
In that BAT strike, Two Indian soldiers have sacrificed their life. worse, their bodies were mutilated.
You know, the primary task of Pakistani Border Action Team is to dominate the line of control by carrying out disruptive actions in the form of surreptitious raids.
No doubt, Indian forces must have provided befitting response to these BAT strikes.
Somehow, we feel, Indian response to such BAT strikes has not inflicted prohibitive cost on Pakistani side. That's why they could think of launching second BAT strike this year.
We hope, Indian army will surely find a way to ensure that BAT strikes are given a such a massive retaliation, that Pakistan never again think of launching such strike against us.
Lets be clear, As long as terrorist acts and BAT strikes happen, the solution of Pakistan problem is not peace talk .
Whatever Pakistan chief of army staff says in the public should not matter to us as long as in the darkness of the night troops under his command do exactly opposite.
And if his troops dont follow his orders, he has no right to remain the commander in chief.
In response to Indian surgical strikes and heavy loss of Terrorists in Kashmir valley, Pakistan may have decided to mount two BAT strikes in a single year.
Rather, India need to draw the New red line against BAT strikes. We have full confidence in the capability of Indian armed forces and we are sure they will find the best way to handle such BAT strikes in future.
