Why India must take Naval Action in Maldives?

Now that, its confirmed, that Chinese naval task force did enter Indian ocean through Sunda Strait. Please note, only after making their presence felt, they left the Indian ocean.
Now the question is, was that a pre planned act, or was it related to ongoing Maldivian crisis. While there is no way to figure out the Chinese thought process behind it. But it’s very likely, that Chinese short time naval posture was a signal to India, we cannot afford to miss.
Before going any further, lets discuss Doklam crisis, it was Chinese deliberate design to create rift in between India and Bhutan. however Indian doklam strategy is arguably the successful one.
Now, consider this, if current regime continues to hold the office in Maldives, it will be beneficial only to china, and extremely detrimental to Indian interests.
if you see the history, China opened its embassy in Maldivian Capital in 2011, and first democratically elected President Mohamed Nasheed was forced to resign at gun point in 2012. There may be some sort of a relation in between these two events.
You know, China is itself an authoritarian regime, that's why it doesn’t care about democracy in other countries. In addition The desire to gain strategic presence in Indian ocean makes a strong case for Chinese support to the regime of President Yameen.
Now you see, while China is fully backing the authoritarian regime in Maldives, India is appeared to be reluctant to support the democratic opposition forces in Maldives.
Let’s be clear, President Yameen will never care about Indian interests, but Indian reluctance will ensure, that even opposition forces lose faith in India.
It will be clear and heavy loss for India. With the 30 days extension of emergency, the statements of Ministry of external affairs have achieved effectively nothing.
So the question is, what’s the way forward?
In this entire crisis, what should matter most for India is the ordinary people of Maldives. By now, Indian intelligence should have enough idea about, what majority people in Maldives might be thinking about this state of emergency.
If they are also against it, time perhaps come for India to take military posture. Now the current regime must know, if state of emergency goes on further, the regime will have to pay the price.
If China is openly supporting the undemocratic forces in Maldives, who is stopping us to support the democratic forces there?
India must make regime in Maldives realize, that it will have to face the consequences for not listening to Indian concerns.
There is no guarantee that we will be successful in this strategy, but sometimes it’s better to do something, than do nothing.
Just like Doklam, we no longer need to fear about escalation, let China and President Yameen worry about it. the basic principal is same, peace is beneficial to India as much as its to both of them. Why then India alone should pay the price for peace?
Enough of Chinese Salami Slicing, If China wants to gain supremacy in Indian Ocean, it should come here, and fight for it.
we don’t prescribe what to be done, and when to be done. We are just saying, time has definitely come to do something rather than issuing statements having zero effect. Current regime is thriving under the assumption, that fear of direct confrontation with china will prevent any Indian intervention. Time has come to shatter this assumption itself.
One thing, we are very clear about, the Indian action should be oriented keeping in view the interests and safety of common people of Maldives. Basically We need to apply, what we have just learnt in Doklam crisis.
