You know, during Indian Prime Minister's China visit, it was decided that India and China will undertake joint economic project in Afghanistan.



After this strategic decision, there will be multiple rounds of official discussions to identify, plan and execute the viable project.



You may recall, with over 3 Billion Dollar assistance, India is already the biggest regional donor to Afghanistan.



Despite numerous Pakistan sponsored terrorist attacks, Over the years India has built New Afghan Parliament, Salma Dam, 200 Public and private schools, roads and provided scholarships to Afghan Students.



We all remember, Pakistan has never accepted any Indian Political or military role in Afghanistan.



America has always tried to carefully address this Pakistani concern.

Even India doesn't want any military role in Afghanistan.

Having said that, we always have economic and political role in Afghanistan.



and Pakistan is no one to determine what role India can play in Afghanistan.



In this background, you know, of late China is trying to gain influence in Afghanistan.



We all have assumed, Increasing Chinese role in Afghanistan will eventually help Pakistan to maintain its influence over Afghanistan.



There have even been multiple reports suggesting Afghanistan joining China Pakistan Economic Corridor Project.



Though India continue to avoid joining this corridor project.
Yet this time around both India and China have smartly tried to find a way to collaborate in Afghanistan.



As we have discussed in our multiple videos, Having good relationship with China provides India best bargaining power against Pakistan.



In fact, Acrimonious relationship with China ends up making Pakistan stronger.



that's where, India is again trying to build good relationship with China.



After all China seem to have realized, that It can get more by being Indian friend rather than being enemy.



As long as China addresses Indian concerns and respects Indian aspirations, we can offer China a lot more, than Pakistan can ever offer.



A note of thanks should also be sent to president Trump as well for bringing China closer to India.



Lets be clear, Amid all of this friendly atmosphere in  between two countries, we should maintain vigilance on Indian China border.



Among all this, most of the damage is received by Pakistan.



Despite fully knowing this project will end up making Indian political role in Afghanistan stronger, It cannot oppose any joint India China economic project.  This time around, it will have to simply swallow the bitter pill.
