After the recently concluded Russian visit of its Chief of Army Staff,  Pakistan has officially proposed long term multidimensional strategic partnership with Russia.





Though In the recent past, Russia and Pakistan have undoubtedly come very close to each other, yet we would like to wait till Russia officially comes up with its affirmative response to Pakistani Proposal.



Anyways Pakistan has certainly shown its willingness to increase the level of engagement with Russia.



To some extent, such announcement appears to be directed towards domestic audience to allay the fears of global isolation.



Such illusionary and wishful thinking serves the Russian purpose of indirectly issuing threats to India against its going closer to America.



However, if you look at recent past, India has rightly refused to become a pawn in the fight between global powers.



That's what differentiate us from Pakistan, which is just a tool to be used by global powers.



In fact, we would like to believe that Russia fully realize the enormous value of relationship with India.



Trying to play balancing game, Russia may never issue official public statement accepting, or rejecting Pakistan's strategic partnership proposal.





Going forward, we should remove emotions from our friendship with Russia.



While the closeness is matter  of debate, Russia and Pakistan friendship is reality of the day.



Safeguarding our interests, we should continue to negotiate hard with Russians and maximize  our benefits in each transaction.



As we have argued in our other videos, Regardless India America friendship, Russia needs Pakistan for its bigger geopolitical games. Being indifferent, We need not feel guilty for warmth in Russia Pakistan relationship.
