Hello Friends, welcome to Real Quick Info channel. Lets discuss about today's topic.



As you might have read in newspaper, Now India has started thinking about life without Iranian oil post November 2018.



The question is what has forced India to move from recent public statement to disregard American sanctions in the presence of Iranian foreign minister to start thinking how to follow American dictate about stopping oil from Iran.



The simple reason is, President Trump wants that Iran should not be able to sell even a drop of crude oil post November 2018.



And his administration is so firm that India lost any hope of getting exception this time around.



Now, it came to light, before 2015 Iran Nuclear Deal, India could afford to import Iranian oil under an exception from Obama administration, That India can continue to import crude oil from Iran but it got to reduce oil imports by 20% every six months.



More importantly, last time India was able to form a common understanding with South Korea and Japan to force Obama administration to relent to their collective genuine demand.



This time around President Trump doesn't care what India Japan and Korea says.



His firm belief comes from the simple fact that he was able to achieve a breakthrough with North Korea, only after he was able to impose most strict sanctions against North Korea in its history.



This time around, he is moving in the direction to ensure that Iran goes through its worst ever economic sanctions.

You know, 5 months before American sanctions come in to play, Mass protests have already started in Iran.



Consider this, during Obama administration, the sale of Iranian oil was reduced by just 1.2 Million barrels per  day.



In Feb 2018, Iran is believed to have capacity to pump 4 Million barrels per day.



Entire trump administration is determined to ensure, even if Iran pumps 5 Million Barrels per day, no one is allowed to buy this crude oil by imposing blanket sanctions against all importers of Iranian oil on 4 November.

Simply, President trump is about to heavily penalize buyer to stop revenue for seller.


India being second largest buyer of Iranian oil,  comes directly in the line of fire.



That's where now Keeping in our overall national interests in mind, Indian government is making cost benefit analysis of buying Iranian crude oil post 4th November.



Once we know with surety on possible sanctions on India. keeping emotions aside, Indian government is expected to take decision on the basis of objective analysis.



Being largest importer of Iranian crude oil, China is already entangled in trade war with America, and it would be interesting to see how it reacts to American sanctions.



Bigger question is, once Iranian oil capacity is removed from market, how world crude oil demand will be met. You know, Crude oil price has already started escalating.



In this regard, Trump administration was able to  convince its middle east allies like Saudi Arabia to pump up more crude oil going forward.



that's how its being planned to keep crude oil price in check.



However, Its very difficult to conclude how things will pan out in reality.



That's where we should keep calm and plan for all possible scenarios.



One thing if you noticed, for better or worse President trump has shaken the world by following very simple idea of America first.



Have you ever thought that China would reduce import duty on 8500 Indian goods?



For last so many years, India has been requesting China to do so, but it did not.



When President Trump has introduced little chaos in the system, Tall Chinese determination started falling apart



we may like or dislike the way president Trump works, but the way he is fighting for American interest is Praiseworthy. We should judge a person by the efforts he is making rather than the result he is producing.
