Hello Friends, welcome to Real Quick Info channel. Lets discuss our Original Real Quick Analysis.
You know, Imran khan is yet to take oath of Prime Minister's office.
While Twitter love in between China and Pakistan is full on display. Imran Khan tweeted in Chinese language, and this was more than enough for Chinese to start dancing in their news papers.
Its understandable, when you have more than 60 Billion Dollars at stake, you are bound to be too much happy for too little reason.
Meanwhile, Economic expert in Pakistan are calculating how much IMF bail out is needed for Pakistani government to survive.
Lets look at numbers, In July Month Pakistan has got only 9 Billion Dollar foreign reserves.
On lighter notes, Pakistan wants to be equal to India. Now Pakistani analysts must seriously think, how come today Indian foreign reserve is more than 400 Billion Dollars, and Pakistan has foreign reserves only to fund its next two months imports.
You know, just before election, China gave 1 Billion Dollar emergency loan to Pakistan so that it can conduct election without getting bankrupt.
Now, Pakistan has total 5 Billion Dollars loan from Chinese commercial banks.
We all know, from one hand China gives loan to Pakistan, but from another hand its takes the money back as payment for increasing Chinese imports.
Its surprising, Despite knowing fully well, who is robbing Pakistan, Imran Khan wants to learn from China how to remove poverty from Pakistan. We wish good luck to him.
Anyways, Pakistan will have to pay for imports in third month, and For Chinese loans it has to pay back as well, and this amount is going to increase with each passing quarter.
Therefore, Pakistani economic analysts are estimating that Pakistan needs at least 9 to 12 Billion Dollar Bailout package from International Monitory fund.
IMF is head quartered in Washington DC America. America contributes highest 17% funds to IMF, Therefore it has highest voting power in IMF decision making.
Since year 1980, Pakistan has great privilege to have 13 IMF bail outs. Needless to say, each time, it was America, which asked IMF to right a check to Pakistan.
Pakistan is some what like a TB patient, who doesn't complete the same course prescribed by the doctor, and keep on returning to same doctor again and again.
Last time in year 2013, Pakistan managed to get 5 Billion Dollar Bail out from IMF .
Despite getting help from America for 13 times, Thankless Pakistan has the guts to say, that America didn't do anything for it. That's perhaps the reason, why Pakistan is now staring at 14th IMF bailout.
We all know, It has always been foolish for America to fund Pakistan and get back stabbed in the return.
Anyways, Something you learn at very heavy cost.
You know, Having granted whopping aid worth 78 Billion dollars to Pakistan in between 1948 and 2016, America has just frozen all money supply to Pakistan.
Now, that Pakistani government is thinking to knock the IMF door, American foreign Secretary Mike Pompeo has clearly articulated, this time America wont let history repeat itself.
While talking to American media, he is very clear, America will not allow IMF Dollars to be used to pay back Pakistan's Chinese loans.
As you know, America has highest decision making power at IMF. Without Permission from President trump, IMF cannot give even bailout worth 1 Billion dollar to Pakistan.
In fact, IMF has always been warning Pakistan to avoid taking steroids of Chinese loans. Therefore IMF is very well aware of, whats going on in Pakistan.
Without American pressure, Based on cold numbers, IMF is going to negotiate very hard with Pakistan before providing any bailout.
If somehow Pakistan manages to get bailout, China Pakistan Economic Corridor projects will be first stopped due to tough IMF conditions. Therefore, IMF bailout means clear loss to China.
Thus Pakistan will be able to survive, but Chinese dream will have premature death due to sinking in Arabian sea.
Rather wise China must ask itself, Why it lent 5 Billion Dollars to Pakistan, when it is to eventually knock IMFs door.
You know, In this global trade war, President trump is looking for more bargaining power against China. In fact, Pakistan is an excuse, the real target of IMF bailout will be China.
Therefore, China may not allow Pakistan to accept IMF bailout package.
So what's possible way out, since Pakistan has already lost ability to pay back to China.
Either china may continue to lend money, so that Pakistan pay it back and pay for its imports, or it will smartly cancel its loan to avoid giving more loan to Pakistan. In no way, this can be regarded as solution, its just like pushing today's problem towards tomorrow.
Now, you know, Pakistan gets IMF Bailout or Chinese bailout. in both conditions, the loser will be china. For Pakistan its just another bailout.
that's why we have argued in our couple of videos, China has not caught Pakistan in its debt trap, its Pakistan which has smartly caught China in death trap.
As per your views, Will China allow Pakistan to get IMF bailout package?
