Hello Friends, welcome to Real Quick Info channel. Lets discuss about today's topic.

While making an attempt for better relationship with China, India has not forgotten the reality, how China is trying to establish its Hegemony in the whole world.



Behind asking for development for all countries, there is Chinese aim to establish Pax Sinica once again.



Pax Sinica refers to historical Golden Chinese Age, when China maintained dominant civilization in the region due to its political, economic, military and cultural power.

We are talking about time before year 200. and the duration in between year 618 and Year 907.



Now China is once again trying to recreate its glorious past in future.



That's where no matter how much we appease china, there will be confrontation with India as long as we don't end up surrendering to Chinese hegemonic tendencies.



For rapid Indian development, China wants India to learn from China and follow it.



However, Sri Lanka , Pakistan and Maldives are three countries, which clearly show us the result of following China.



Going forward, As per news report published by Hindustan Times news paper, India has come up with three pronged strategy to check Chinese influence in the region. This strategy has following three dimensions.



We should carefully Track Chinese activities in the region.



Rather than competing with China, we should continue to pursue our own projects and commitments.



We should educate and advice neighbors on the consequences of engaging with china.



We definitely liked the idea that India need not compete with China on resources. Its going to be game for India to loose.



After all,  thanks to the way China has exploited current global trade system, it has huge resources at its disposal.



Moreover, when China is ready to waste its resources in Pakistan and Sri Lanka, we need not worry about it.



China built a Sri Lankan port, where no ship wants to stop and a Sri Lankan airpot, where no airplane wants to land.



Soon, In all likelihood, Gwadar port will replace Hambantota port as world's biggest swimming pool.



If world is struggling with over capacity now, China is mainly responsible for this. Thanks to Just started Global Trade war, the possibility of Chinese mega infrastructural projects turning in to White Elephants has only increased.



When experts talk about Global Trade war, they end up blaming President Trump, while conveniently forgetting that all other ways to force China change its way, have simply failed.



Over last two decades, America has engaged with China in discussions, from which nothing positive came out.



Forget America, even India has continued to request China for market access, which China steadfastly refused to provide.



In a way, Talks have become a Chinese way to ensure that current status quo continue to prevail, after all its most beneficial to China.



Indian can continue with its three pronged, or four pronged strategy, nothing is going to happen, because this strategy is defensive in nature.



Unless the current global trade system changes,  Pax Sinica will be established sooner or later.



That's where, we don't find it a good idea for India to fight trade war with America, when America is primarily fighting with China.



You know, when Trump has imposed global trade tariff, all nations except Japan has retaliated against America.



That's where India is simply wrong to retaliate against America in current trade war. However good thing is, India is engaged with America in talks and hopefully a deal will be made.



We must understand, this trade war is not against India. We have trade surplus with America but It primarily comes from IT services that India offers to America.



These Indian services enable American business to operate efficiently and earn billions of dollars  more. That's where, there is synergy in between India and America.



No matter what president trump says publicly, but he understands this reality.



In this just started trade war, the worst thing is to fight a war, to which we are not even a party.



We should rather engage with both America and China to get the best deal for India.



If at all we get to take sides, we should join American side rather than Chinese.



Please note, China has immense over capacity, if American market reduces, it may end up dumping goods in Indian market immediately, thus Indian trade deficit with China will further increase.



On the other hand, China will take time to slowly open its market for India, and it will take even longer time for India to build capacity to exploit it. Moreover, When China has over capacity, the least it would require is the import from foreign countries.

That's why India must re-calibrate its strategy in ongoing trade war.
