Hello Friends, welcome to Real Quick Info channel. Lets discuss our Original Real Quick Analysis.


We all know, last year during Prime Minister Modi's America visit, Both countries have decided to start 2+2 dialogue in between defense and foreign ministers of both nations.





Its quite understandable that first ever strategic dialogue of this comprehensive scale could not start in April this year, because new American foreign secretary Mike Pompeo was yet to formally join the office after his predecessors Rex Tillerson was fired by President Trump.



Afterwards, Both sides agreed on conducting the dialogue on 6th July.



As you might have read, rather than welcoming Indian foreign and defense ministers in America, American foreign secretary chose to visit North Korea instead.



America had great hope that significant progress will be made on North Korean denuclearization.



However, this unscheduled visit of American foreign secretary has fallen flat on the ground with making effectively no progress, and He could not even get opportunity to shake hands with North Korean leader Kim.



This simply confirms the error of judgement from American standpoint in differentiating in between established friend in India and potential friend in North Korea.



As we have discussed earlier also, China has created two monsters, Pakistan for India, and North Korea for America.



The moment it was clear that Trump administration is going ahead with its plan to impose trade tariff against China, China unleashed its power and made America pay price in North Korea.



American action at trade front has equal and opposite Chinese reaction at diplomatic front.



During north Korean visit of secretary Mike Pompeo, breakfast, lunch and dinner have happened, What could not take place was any serious talks.



Anyways, What is good to see, is that America has raised stake for china by increasing the intensity of trade war in September this year by imposing the 10% additional tariffs on Chinese goods worth 200 Billion dollars.



This effectively means By using North Korea, China could not get success in forcing President trump to rethink on his trade war strategy.



By thinking big, President Trump is ready to put trade tariffs even on total Chinese goods worth 500 Billion dollars. Though its unlikely to happen, yet this president is showing that he can go to any extent to get the favorable deal for America.





Perhaps trump has realized that if he can take care of China, North Korean problem will take care of itself.



Anyways, returning to India, now as you might read in newspaper, next inaugural 2+2 dialogue is now scheduled to happen on 6th of September.



As it can be said for america, once bitten, twice shy. Hopefully, this 2+2 dialogue will not be further postponed.



India and America can do so much together, and the only way to move ahead, is to first start talking to each other at right level.



Be it communication framework agreement or sharing common interests in Indo pacific region, India and America will have bright future if both collaborate with each other.



Every other country knows it well, fighting trade war with worlds  largest market is first thing to avoid. That's why serious negotiations are going on to deal with current trump administration.



Recently ill prepared American trade delegation has visited India, and it has been asked to come up with specific demands it has from India.



Before asking from India, Trump Administration must figure out what exactly they want from us. Then only negotiations can proceed forward.



We look forward to upcoming 2+2 dialogue. The good thing is, this time Indian foreign and defense minister are not going to America for this meeting, as it was to happen in April and July.



Now American foreign and defense secretary will come to India for meeting with their counterpart. This is a sweet way of communicating that we don't appreciate the last minute changes in diplomatic engagements.
