Hello Friends, welcome to Real Quick Info channel. Lets discuss our Original Real Quick Analysis.

As you may know, on 23 September first round of Maldivian presidential election is going to be held.

As we discussed in our this video in the month of July, Somehow Maldivian former president and president of Maldivian Democratic Party  Mohamed Nasheed had pulled out of Maldivian Presidential race.

This has allowed four opposition parties including Maldivian Democratic Party to field a joint candidate in Ibrahim Mohamed Solih in order to present a strong challenge to President Yameen.

At this point in time, for very obvious reason, we would not like to say, who is behind forming the joint opposition coalition in Maldives.

However if you may recall, Pro china Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa Lost election in January 2015.

However As per Sri Lankan media, Just before the election in December, Sri Lankan government asked Research and Analysis wing station chief to leave Sri Lanka for his links to common opposition.

As per Indian foreign ministry, he was removed from Sri lanka as a routine transfer.

No one should expect that Indian foreign ministry and spy agencies would stake formal credit for playing any sort of role in the formation of joint opposition against last Sri Lankan president .

But you may now easily speculate, who might have played invisible role in fielding joint opposition candidate against President Yameen.

Basically, the point we are trying to make here is,   We may wish for the victory of joint opposition candidate Ibrahim.

Considering the tight election on 23 September, Indian leaders including Subramaniyam Swamy are expected to behave responsibly.

You tell, just before the election, if you talk about Invasion on Maldives, whom it will help?

It goes without saying, such statement only helps President Yameen in whipping anti India sentiments in his favor. Exactly that's what is happening in Maldives now.

No matter how much good idea you have, if you present it at the wrong time.

Now perhaps, he realized his mistake, and said his comment was in personal capacity. But the damage is already done.

More importantly, suggesting such ideas in public can harm already fragile bilateral relationship.

To Some extent, Thanks to this fear of Indian invasion, China has been very successful in drawing president Yameen closer than ever.

the point we have always maintained, Invasion on Maldives is not a cool idea.

if people of Maldives cannot protect the democracy, India cannot plant democracy there from outside.

At best India can support democratic process from outside.

Without getting directly involved in the Maldivian problem, there are variety of options for India to showcase our displeasure and apply pressure.

There are a number of ways, India can make Maldive pay price for rigging election. In fact, As you can watch in this video, that's what Indian government has already started doing.

Anyways You know, any Indian military intervention has huge cost associated with it.

Why should we Indian tax payers pay the price for establishing democracy in Maldives?

Why Should Indian soldiers lose their lives for saving democracy in Maldives?

The point we are trying to make is, rather than spending Indian money on Maldives invasion, we should spend the same money to make our Indian Navy stronger so that we no longer remain dependent on friendly Maldives to protect our maritime interests in Indian ocean.

Lets face the truth, we are not like America, which has this habit of thinking, that it can establish democracy in foreign countries by burning billions of dollars there.

Needless to say, Each time America tried this strategy, it failed miserably. Should we not learn from mistake of others?

Its duty of Maldivian opposition parties and people to fight for democratic system. In no way, Indians should take their responsibility. Even if Rigging happens in the upcoming election, we should see how Maldivian public  and opposition react to it.

As per your analysis, Should India still invade Maldives in case Rigging happens in Upcoming Maldivian election?
