जैसे ही इमरान खान ने पाकिस्तान के चुनाव में जीत हासिल की, विद्वानों ने अनुमान लगाना चालू कर दिया, पाकिस्तान को अंतरराष्ट्रीय मुद्रा कोष से कितनी आर्थिक सहायता की जरूरत पड़ेगी.



जब तक पाकिस्तान को अंतरराष्ट्रीय मुद्रा कोष से खैरात नहीं मिलती है, अब तक डूबने से बचाने के लिए चीन ने पाकिस्तान को 2 बिलियन डॉलर का लोन उपलब्ध कराया, और सऊदी अरब ने पाकिस्तान को 4.5 बिलियन डॉलर का कर्ज उपलब्ध करवाया.



साथ ही चीन ने पाकिस्तान को भरोसा दिलाया है, कि भविष्य में भी पाकिस्तान माल आयात कर सके, इसके लिए चीन पाकिस्तान को जरूरी आर्थिक सहायता उपलब्ध कराता रहेगा.





देखा जाए, तो पाकिस्तान उसी डॉक्टर से इलाज करवा रहा है, जिसने उसे पहले बीमार बनाया था.



इस बात पर आप विचार कीजिए, कि वर्ष 2005 से 2016 के बीच, साल-दर-साल पाकिस्तान ने अमेरिका से 5 बिलियन डॉलर का माल आयात किया, लेकिन  इसी समय अवधि के दौरान पाकिस्तान का चीन से आयात 2 बिलियन डॉलर से बढ़कर 16 बिलियन डॉलर तक पहुंच गया.



आप जानते हैं, दुनिया का निर्यात करने वाला सबसे बड़ा देश चीन पाकिस्तान के मुद्रा संकट का सबसे बड़ा कारण हैं.



पाकिस्तान को आईएमएफ से कितनी आर्थिक मदद चाहिए, अथवा आईएमएफ के बेलआउट से बचने के लिए पाकिस्तान को चीन से कितना कर्ज लेना पड़ेगा, यह अनुमान लगाना बहुत आसान है.



लेकिन एक सवाल कोई नहीं पूछ रहा है, की चीन पाकिस्तान की ओर पैसा क्यों बहा रहा है, जबकि चीन दूसरी ओर से यह सारा पैसा पाकिस्तान से चूस भी रहा है.



अच्छी बात यह है, कि यह सिर्फ अकेले  पाकिस्तान के साथ नहीं हो रहा है.

रोचक बात यह है, क़र्ज़ के बहुत बड़े भार से दबे हुए 31 गरीब देशों में से, 28 देशों का चीन ने कर्ज माफ किया है.



अगर चीन इन 28 देशों को क़र्ज़  माफी देता है, तो वह अपने सबसे अच्छे दोस्त पाकिस्तान को कर्ज माफी क्यों नहीं दे सकता है. इसके ठीक विपरीत, और अधिक कर्ज दे कर चीन पाकिस्तान की बीमारी को और अधिक बिगाड़ रहा है.



चीन पाकिस्तान इकोनॉमिक कॉरिडोर के लिए, चीन ने पाकिस्तान को 68 बिलियन डॉलर का मूलधन 7% की वार्षिक ब्याज दर पर उपलब्ध कराया है.



पाकिस्तान तो 101 दिनों के लिए भी कच्चा तेल आयात  नहीं कर सकता है, निकट भविष्य में इस बात की संभावना बहुत कम है, कि पाकिस्तान चीन के कर्ज को अदा कर पाएगा.



जबकि चीन का पुराना कर्ज bad loan में तब्दील हो रहा है, तो पाकिस्तान को और अधिक कर्ज देने का क्या मतलब है? देखा जाए तो, पाकिस्तान में आग बुझाने के लिए चीन पेट्रोल का इस्तेमाल कर रहा है.



इसलिए अच्छा होगा, पाकिस्तान चीन से कर्ज माफी की मांग करने लगे. पाकिस्तान को चीन से कर्ज माफी मांगने में हिचकिचाने की जरूरत भी नहीं है.



जनवरी 2018 में चीन के पास 3000 बिलियन डॉलर का विदेशी मुद्रा भंडार मौजूद है.



सिर्फ एक छोटा सा हस्ताक्षर करके राष्ट्रपति शी जिनपिंग पाकिस्तान का 70 बिलियन डॉलर का कर्ज माफ कर सकते हैं. और उन्होंने अगर ऐसा किया, तो 1 दिन में पाकिस्तान की सारी समस्या खत्म हो जाएंगी.



अभी हाल ही में, न्यूजीलैंड के विदेश मंत्री ने  प्रशांत महासागर के छोटे-छोटे देशों को चीन से कर्ज माफी के लिए मिलकर एक साथ मांग करने को कहा है.



जब यह छोटे छोटे  देश कर्जमाफी के लिए गुहार लगा सकते हैं, तो पाकिस्तान क्यों अपने प्यारे दोस्त चीन से कर्जा माफी की दरखास्त नहीं कर सकता है ?



पाकिस्तान के विद्वान अपने समय का बहुत अच्छा उपयोग करेंगे, अगर वह इस बात का अनुमान लगाएं, कि पाकिस्तान के मुद्रा संकट को समाप्त करने के लिए, चीन से कितनी कर्ज माफी की मांग करनी चाहिए.



आज जब पाकिस्तान के नए प्रधानमंत्री शपथ ले रहे हैं, तब  चीन को अपने आप कर्ज माफ़ कर देना चाहिए.

 पाकिस्तान के लोगों को चीन की दोस्ती का बड़ा अभिमान होता है, आज चीन ने अगर पाकिस्तान की मदद कर दी, तो पाकिस्तान के लोगों का घमंड और ऊंचे आसमान तक पहुंच जाएगा.



वैसे भी पाकिस्तान को और अधिक कर्ज देकर, चीन अपना पैसा अरब सागर में फेंक रहा है. पाकिस्तान को कर्ज माफी देकर, कुछ समय के लिए चीन पाकिस्तान में अपने लिए अच्छी भावनाएं भी खरीद भी सकता है.



जो जरूरत पड़ने पर काम आए, वही सच्चा दोस्त होता है. अब वक्त आ गया है, चीन पाकिस्तान के प्रति अपनी दोस्ती पर खरा उतरे.



जहां तक पाकिस्तान का सवाल है, चीन से और अधिक कर्ज की अपेक्षा किए बगैर, उसके लोगों को तो चीन जैसे अपने प्यारे दोस्त से हक़ से कर्ज माफी मांगनी चाहिए.



अभी पाकिस्तान चीन से कर्ज लेने के लिए उसे धमकियां दे रहा है, अच्छा होगा, यदि पाकिस्तान कर्जमाफी के लिए धमकियां देना चालू करें. समय आ गया है, पाकिस्तान अपने तरीके में बदलाव करे.

Since Imran Khan won the election, experts have been estimating, how much IMF bail out is required for Pakistan.



Until Pakistan gets IMF bailout, China has just given 2 billion Dollars loan to Pakistan and Saudi Arabia has given 4.5 Billion Dollars, so that It doesn't sink while process goes on.



China has also promised to keep providing easy loans to Pakistan in future also, so that it can pay for its imports.



Pakistan is taking prescription from doctor, who made it sick first.



Consider this, In between year 2005 and 2016, Annually Pakistan imported goods worth 5 Billion Dollars from America. But in the same period, its Chinese import bill has gone up from 2 Billion Dollars to 16 Billion Dollars.





You all know, World largest exporter in China is mainly responsible for Pakistani currency crisis.



While its very easy to estimate, how much IMF bailout Pakistan needs. or How much China can loan to Pakistan to delay IMF bailout.



One question, which no one seems to be asking, why China is flowing money to Pakistan, when its also responsible for sucking it out at the same time.



The good thing is, Pakistan is not alone here.

Interestingly Out of 31 heavily indebted poor countries, China has forgiven loans for 28 countries.



If China can forgive loan of 28 countries, why it cannot directly cancel loans to its all weather friend Pakistan to help it, rather than making its problem worse by giving more loans.


For China Pakistan economic corridor, China has provided 68 Billion Dollar loan to Pakistan at huge 7% annual interest rate.



When Pakistan cannot import crude oil for 101 days. In near future, there is no possibility that Pakistan can service these loans to China.



Even when old loans are about to turn in to bad loan. China is giving more loan to Pakistan.

Its like China using petrol to put out the fire in Pakistan.



Therefore it would be wise if Pakistan asks for debt forgiveness from China.



In fact,  Pakistan should not hesitate in asking for Chinese debt cancellation.



As of January 2018, China has foreign reserves worth 3000 Billion Dollar.



Why President Xi Jinping cannot cancel 70 billion Dollar loan to Pakistan with single stroke of his pen. If he does so, all problems of Pakistan will vanish tomorrow.



Recently, foreign minister of New Zealand has suggested that all pacific island countries should together ask China to forgive the loans.



If these small countries can dare to ask for debt cancellation, why Pakistan cannot ask its dear friend for the same.



The experts in Pakistan would utilize their time better to calculate, how much Chinese debt cancellation is required for Pakistan to fix its currency crisis.



In fact, This day when new Pakistani prime Minister is taking oath of Office, China should gift him by voluntarily forgiving loans to Pakistan.



Pakistan is very proud of having friendship with China, its time for China to make Pakistan Arrogant today.



Anyways, by giving loan after loan to Pakistan, China is already throwing its money in Arabian Sea, But by giving debt forgiveness today, clever China can buy some more good will in Pakistan.



A friend in need, is friend In deed. Time has come for China to prove its friendship with Pakistan.



So far as Pakistan goes, its people must rightfully ask for Chinese debt forgiveness rather than more loan from China.

Rather than giving threats for seeking loans from China, Pakistan should issue threats to china for getting debt waiver. Its time for Pakistan to change its approach.
