If you see carefully, when ever China Pakistan Economic corridor project is being talked about.



World wide all experts present view, that Pakistan can become victim of debt trap laid by Hunter China.



As we have discussed in number of our videos, it appears just opposite. Instead China can become victim of death trap laid by Hunter Pakistan.



Lets quickly look at history, Karakoram highway is most important part of China Pakistan Economic Corridor.



1300 Kilometer long this high way is also known as china Pakistan friendship highway.



Construction on this highway started in the year 1959 and it took 20 years to be opened for Public in 1979. When Pakistan was not able to repay the loan for this project, China happily forgave the debt and Karakoram highway became Chinese gift to Pakistan.



In last 40 years, This very expensive highway has been reconstructed three times.



For the fourth reconstruction of this high way, Pakistan was able to get Chinese loan at 1.6% rate, in comparison to 3% what China was asking in the beginning.



Poor Chinese people are basically subsidizing the reconstruction of Karakoram highway in very fragile mountainous region.





The point we are trying to make is, Pakistan has habit of taking loans, from where money is coming it doesn't bother them much.



When Money was flowing from China, Pakistan has happily taken it at whatever conditions offered by China.



Sooner than later, Pakistan will have to start repaying these loans.



Sensing Chinese ability to arm twist Pakistan, it has recently included Saudi Arabia in China Pakistan Economic Corridor Project to counter balance Chinese influence.



More importantly, Simultaneously Now Pakistan is seriously reconsidering other China funded CPEC projects.



We all know, The electricity produced from CPEC power plant is very expensive. There is demand that China should renegotiate power purchasing agreement with Pakistan.



You might have read in newspapers, Pakistan is rethinking Chinese financing conditions and risk sharing related to mega railway project connecting Karachi and Peshawar.



More importantly, Since China proudly claims the China Pakistan Economic corridor as the flagship project of Belt and Road Initiative, its Chinese duty to make it successful. if this project is failed, China will have to pay tremendous reputational cost.



The way things are going on, its very likely that Pakistan will default on Chinese loan repayment.



Therefore China will have to restructure the loans by reducing interest rates or by relaxing loan repayment conditions.



Last week, when International monitory fund delegation visited Pakistan, they asked for details related to CPEC Power Projects.



Pakistan simply declined to give those details. Thus confirming that Pakistan is not going to play the card of exposing China as of now.



Pakistan clearly foresee, that it will be able to turn China Pakistan Economic Corridor project as Chinese gift to Pakistan soon.



Whenever China and Pakistan say they are all weather friends, its because both of them have common geostrategic enemy in India.



Smart Pakistan understand this, Containing Rising India is more important for China rather than collecting payment on 60 Billion Dollar invested in China Pakistan Economic Corridor project.



Therefore China will never put its friendship with Pakistan at risk.



Today, After burning Billion Dollars in Pakistan, democratic America can forge better relationship with India, but even after burning its Billion Dollars in Pakistan, Communist China cannot think of having friendship with India.





In fact By debt trapping Pakistan, China will lose more.  Just Like Hambantota port, if China tries to take control of Pakistani infrastructure assets, China will have to pay its price both in Baluchistan and in Xinjiang province.



Population in these two provinces has already developed immense hatred against china. its like  China is sitting on mountain of dynamite, Pakistan army has to just provide a spark and China will be caught in the explosion in these two provinces.



And China will be left begging for security cover from same Pakistan army.



That's why, China Pakistan Economic Corridor project is a room for China with no exit door.



Many of our viewers rightly say, China has 3000 Billion Dollars in foreign reserves. In fact, Pakistan also understand this fact, that's why it has assumed, that providing debt relief for Pakistan will not be a big problem for China.
