जैसा कि आप जानते हैं, अमेरिका में हुए Mid Term चुनावों के बाद, राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप की रिपब्लिकन पार्टी ने हाउस ऑफ रिप्रेजेंटेटिव में अपना बहुमत खो दिया, हाउस ऑफ रिप्रेजेंटेटिव भारत की लोकसभा के बराबर होता है.



लेकिन रिपब्लिकन पार्टी का सीनेट में बहुमत बना रहा. अमेरिका की सीनेट भारत की राज्य सभा के बराबर होती है.



इन चुनावों को लेकर भारत की मीडिया ने अमेरिका में छपी हुई खबरों को ही फिर से पब्लिश किया है. लेकिन इन खबरों को पढ़ कर ऐसा लग रहा था, मानो की  भारत और अमेरिका की मीडिया को राहत और खुशी मिल गई हो, कि कम से कम राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप ने हाउस ऑफ रिप्रेजेंटेटिव में अपना बहुमत खो दिया है.



आइए जल्दी से राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप और राष्ट्रपति ओबामा के पहले Mid Term चुनावों की तुलना करें.

वर्ष 2010 में हुए चुनाव में, 63 सीटों के हार जाने के बाद राष्ट्रपति ओबामा की डेमोक्रेटिक पार्टी ने हाउस ऑफ रिप्रेजेंटेटिव में अपना बहुमत खो दिया था. और सीनेट में 6 सीटों के खोने के बाद डेमोक्रेटिक पार्टी का बहुमत बना रहा था.



लेकिन वर्ष 2018 में हुए चुनाव में, 38 सीटों के हार जाने के बाद राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप की रिपब्लिकन पार्टी  ने  अपना बहुमत खो दिया है . और सीनेट में बिना किसी सीट को गवाए रिपब्लिकन पार्टी का बहुमत बरकरार है .



यहां पर याद रखने वाली बात यह है, कि अमेरिका में मतगणना अभी भी चल रही है, इसलिए चुनाव परिणामों में थोड़ा बहुत बदलाव हो सकता है.



लेकिन राष्ट्रपति ओबामा और राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप के आंकड़ों की तुलना करके आप अंदाजा लगा सकते है, की Mid Term इलेक्शन में किसकी ज्यादा बड़ी पराजय हुई थी.



इसके अलावा राष्ट्रपति ओबामा के प्रति मीडिया ने 2 वर्षों तक लगातार सकारात्मक ढंग से प्रचार किया था, लेकिन राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप के खिलाफ पिछले 2 वर्षों में मीडिया ने बहुत ही नकारात्मक ढंग से प्रचार किया है.



हालांकि इस बात पर विवाद हो सकता है, कि राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप की इस चुनाव में जीत हुई है, या पराजय हुई है. लेकिन एक बात तो तय हो चुकी है, कि भविष्य में राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप की राह आसान नहीं रहेगी.



जहां तक भारत का सवाल है, अब अमेरिका के इमीग्रेशन सिस्टम में सुधार होने की संभावना पूरी तरह से खत्म हो चुकी है.



एक तरह से यह अच्छी खबर है, क्योंकि पहले की तरह भारत के प्रोफेशनल अमेरिका के खराब इमीग्रेशन सिस्टम का लाभ उठाते रहेंगे.



लेकिन यह एक बुरी खबर भी है, क्योंकि राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप मेरिट बेस्ड जो इमीग्रेशन का सिस्टम लेकर आने वाले थे, शायद उससे भारत से टैलेंटेड प्रोफेशनल बेहतर सैलरी पर अमेरिका में काम कर पाते.



मूलभूत रूप से, एक बेहतर सिस्टम की तुलना में हमें एक वर्तमान खराब सिस्टम के साथ संतुष्ट रहना होगा.



जहां तक भारत के प्रति अमेरिकी रवैये का सवाल है, तो उसमें कोई ज्यादा परिवर्तन नहीं होने वाला है. क्योंकि रिपब्लिकन और डेमोक्रेटिक दोनों ही पार्टियां भारत के साथ मजबूत संबंधों का पक्ष लेती  आई हैं.



अमेरिका के इन चुनावों के परिणामों से सिर्फ एक आदमी खुश हो सकता है. और वह है चीन के राष्ट्रपति शी जिनपिंग.



रोचक बात यह है, जब अमेरिका के मतदाता मतदान कर रहे थे, तभी अचानक से एक खबर सामने आई, कि चीन ने इवांका ट्रंप के 16 फैशन आइटम को ट्रेडमार्क दे दिया है.



कहने की जरूरत नहीं है, अमेरिका की मीडिया ने इस खबर को हाथो हाथ लिया, और यह दर्शाने की कोशिश की , कि राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप का चीन को लेकर कनफ्लिक्ट आफ इंटरेस्ट है.



इसलिए मूलभूत प्रश्न यह उठता है, कि चुनाव के ठीक पहले यह खबर Leak क्यों की गई?



हालांकि इसका कोई सबूत मौजूद नहीं है. लेकिन इस खबर के बाहर आने का समय संदेह को जन्म देता है, कि शायद राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप के खिलाफ चीन की तरफ से अमेरिकी चुनाव में हस्तक्षेप करने की साजिश रची गई थी.



साफ तौर पर नास्तिक चीन तो भगवान से यही प्रार्थना कर रहा था, कि चुनाव में राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप सीनेट  और हाउस  दोनों का बहुमत बुरी तरह से हार जाएँ .





अमेरिका के Mid Term चुनाव परिणाम, चीन के लिए थोड़ा सा गम और थोड़ी सी खुशी दोनों लेकर आए हैं.



रिपब्लिकन और डेमोक्रेटिक पार्टी दोनों इस बात पर सहमत हैं, कि चीन अमेरिका को चीट कर रहा है.



लेकिन इस Cheater से कैसे निपटा जाए, इन तरीकों को लेकर रिपब्लिकन और डेमोक्रेटिक पार्टी में जमकर मतभेद है.



इन दोनों पार्टियों के विचारों में भिन्नता के कारण चीन के साथ ट्रेड वॉर को लेकर अमेरिकी निर्णय प्रक्रिया धीमी हो सकती है.



वास्तव में जितने अधिक समय तक यथास्थिति बनाई रखी जा सके, चीन के लिए उतना ही अच्छा होगा. क्योंकि यथास्थिति केवल चीन को लाभ पहुंचाती है.





इसलिए Mid term चुनावों के परिणाम के बाद यह देखना रोचक होगा, कि चीन की समस्या का हल निकालने के प्रति राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप की इच्छा शक्ति कमजोर होती है, या नहीं.



राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप ने Deal Maker  के रूप में अपनी एक मजबूत छवि का निर्माण किया है. पहले तो उन्हें केवल बाहरी देशों के साथ deal बनानी होती थी. लेकिन अब दूसरे देशों के साथ deal बनाने के पहले, राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप को डेमोक्रेटिक पार्टी के साथ डील करनी होगी.





जहां तक हम समझ सकते हैं, Mid Term के चुनाव परिणाम के बाद राष्ट्रपति शी जिनपिंग का खुश होना लाजमी है.



लेकिन इसके बाद भी हम सभी को ध्यानपूर्वक यह देखना होगा, कि राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप अपनी चाल कैसे चलते हैं.



क्योंकि अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति के पास बहुत अधिक एग्जीक्यूटिव पावर होती है, इसलिए यदि इच्छाशक्ति का अभाव ना हुआ, तो राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप मजबूती के साथ चीन के खिलाफ युद्ध लड़ सकते हैं.



अगर उन्होंने चीन के खिलाफ ट्रेड War अच्छे से लड़ी, तो ना केवल वह दूसरा कार्यकाल जीतेंगे. बल्कि उन्हें इतिहास में ऐसे राष्ट्रपति के रूप में जाना जाएगा, जिसने इतिहास की दिशा को मोड़ दिया, और उभरते हुए चीन को  विश्व की  नंबर वन शक्ति बनने से रोका.





अमेरिका के mid term में चुनाव परिणामों के बारे में चर्चा करते हुए हमें यह नहीं भूलना चाहिए, कि वर्ष 2019 में भारत में होने वाले आम चुनाव को लेकर नास्तिक  चीन भगवान से क्या प्रार्थना करेगा और कैसी साजिश करेगा?

As you know, in US Mid Term election, Republican party of President Trump has lost its majority in House of Representative, which is equivalent to Indian Lok Sabha.



and retained its majority in Senate, which is equivalent to Indian Rajya sabha.



Now, when Indian media was just republishing the news published in American media, it was understandable, there was certain sense of relief and joy, that President Trump has at least lost majority in House of representative.



Lets quickly compare the first mid term election result of  President Trump and President Obama.



In 2010, Democratic party of President Obama lost massive 63 seats in House thus losing its majority. and it lost 6 seats in senate but maintained its majority in senate.



In 2018, Republican party of President Trump also lost 38 seats in house thus losing its majority, and lost zero seats in senate and maintained its majority in senate.



Please note, counting of this mid term election is still going on, these numbers may slightly change.



But with these numbers, you can easily determine, who lost more in his first mid term election.



Moreover, President Obama ran 2 years with most friendly possible media, but President Trump has been running with most hostile possible media.



While it can be debated, whether president lost or won this mid term election. one thing is certain, his path forward is going to be more difficult.



So far as India is concerned, now the chance of any meaningful Immigration reforms has reduced significantly.



Its good news in a way, that Indian IT professional will be able to some how find way to America with current broken system.



but its equally bed news because merit based immigration system, which president Trump was advocating might have ended up making it easier for talented Indians to work in United States.



Basically, at the cost of better system, we will have to remain contented with current good but broken system.



So far as American attitude towards India is concerned, we all know, its not going to change much. since both Republican and democratic parties support strategic relationship with India.



One person, who would certainly be happy with this election result is Chinese president Xi Jinping.



Interestingly, when American voters were casting their votes, a news has broken out, that China has granted preliminary approval for 16 trademarks for fashion items of Ivanka Trump.



Needless to say, American media lapped this news and tried to show case as Conflict of interest for president trump while engaging with China.



Now the fundamental question comes, why this news has been leaked just before the election.



Though we have no evidence here, yet timing of this leak gives berth to suspicion about Chinese conspiracy of meddling in American election against President Trump.



China was praying for president Trump's republican party to lose majority in both House and Senate.



The mid term election result did provide good and bad news to China as well.



Both Democratic  and Republican Party share the common understanding, that China cheats America.



but there is huge difference of opinion, on how to deal with this cheater.



This difference of opinion may slow down the american decision making speed in trade war with China.



In fact, the longer status quo prevails, the better its for China. After all status quo benefits only China.



Therefore it would be interesting to see, if President Trump allows this mid term election result to weaken his determination to fix the problem of china.



President Trump has created this image for himself as a deal maker. Until now, he was supposed to make deals only with foreign countries. Now on wards, before making deal with foreign countries, he will have to first cut the deal with Democratic party.



So far as we think, President Xi Jinping has reason to be happy after this mid term elections.



Having said that, we should remain watchful of How president trump conducts himself after this election result.



Since American President has enormous executive power, if he shows the determination to fight till the end, he can  win the trade war with China.



If he fights and wins trade war with China, he will not only win next term, but will also be remembered as president, who changed the course of history, and stopped the rise of communist China.



While discussing about American mid term election, we must not forget, what China will pray and conspire for in case of Indian general election 2019.
