China is sure to become Supreme Military Power in the world

While supreme court is hearing P I L filed on Rafael jet.



Its very relevant to look at this graph representing Indian defense budget in last 10 years.



If you have notice,, Though Indian military expenditure has increased but year on year, there is no consistent trend of Indian defense budget increasing.



Now, look at graph representing American defense budget in last 10 years.



American defense budget has shown declining trend in last 10 years. With President trump, we can expect American defense budget to rise a bit.



However, This third graph represents Chinese budget in last 10 years.



There is clear rising trend of Chinese military expenditure. Such beautiful graph can not be plotted unless a country has clear cut policy to increase defense budget year on year.



As per published American annual congressional report, if these trends continues, Chinese military power will be equal to American military power by 2050.



Here, we need to understand one thing, America has Army, India has Army but in China, Communist party has army.



In case of India and America, Country has Army, but in case of China, A political party has Army.



It clearly suggests that we cannot afford to expect, with growing military power, China will turn generous and democratic.



Moreover, We didn't have world largest disputed border with America.

America has not encroached Indian Aksai Chin in 1962.

America does not put its claim on Arunachal pradesh.

Moreover America is not building string of pearls to contain India in Indian ocean.



As you understand, all we are saying that America the number one global power has not been our strategic adversary, but China will be.



As its rightly said, Pakistani people think about 1000 years, Chinese think about next 100 years, Indian think only about today.



That's why India is missing coherent strategy to meet the rising challenge in next 30 years.



It would be very naive for us to believe that with rising power, China will take control of Entire South China Sea alone.



Chinese ambition may cover entire Indian Ocean as well.



Last year, Indian armed forces were able to successfully stop Chinese southward road building activities, but in 2050, will Indian armed forces be able to block Chinese aggressive act to change the status quo?



We agree that India will also increase its defense power, but the point is china is regularly and rapidly increasing its military power. on the other hand,  there is majority of section in India, which believes, its waste to spend money on Army.



But the party ruling over china understand that with strength not only peace comes, but also the ability to fulfill strategic objectives without firing a single bullet.



In this perspective we need to look at the Rafael deal on which controversy is going on.



As per analysis presented on NDTV, the price of Rafael jet purchased by NDA is 40% more than price of Rafael jet, which was supposed to be purchased by UPA.



What is interesting to high light is, this great unbiased analysts, has simply divided the total cost of 126 aircraft by 126 to arrive at the average price of single aircraft in UPA deal.



On the other hand, in case of NDA, he divided the total cost of 36 air crafts by 36.

You all know, NDA government urgently bought 36 aircraft to fulfill the critical gap in our defense preparedness.



Common Experience suggests, if you buy something in bulk, you get better price.



Therefore comparing the average price of aircraft in 126 aircraft deal with the average price of an aircraft in 36 aircraft deal is like comparing apple with oranges.



What is interesting is, when India was buying 126   Aircraft, 18 aircraft were coming in fly away condition.



Since, in 36 Aircraft deal of Rafael, we are getting jets in fly away condition.



therefore the comparison must be made in the average price of aircraft in 18 aircraft deal with the average aircraft price in 36 Aircraft deal.



Comparing apple with apple,

if these two prices are compared, In 36 Air craft NDA deal, India is getting aircraft 9% cheaper from France in comparison to 18 Air craft deal of UPA.





While NDTV says they are reporting facts, but if you carefully see, they are misrepresenting the facts.



In the age of fake news, most abused word is Fact.



Anyways, after listening all sides, court has reserved the order. lets wait for what court decides.



but we must seriously think if we are ready to meet the challenge of Grand Chinese vision. In order to win next election, are we not putting the future of India at risk.



With China having single objective of becoming world number one power, do we have any strategy to face China of 2050.
