You might know, on the request of America, Canada arrested Chief Financial officer of Chinese tech giant Huawei on Last Saturday.
What is rather interesting , at the same time American President Trump was having dinner with Chinese president Xi Jinping.
While its not confirmed, if President Trump was aware of this arrest, if you see this picture, American National Security Adviser had also participated in this dinner.
NSA Bolton has publicly accepted, that he was indeed aware of Chinese executive getting arrested at that time, but he was not sure, if President Trump knew about it, since President Trump is not updated on each action taken by American justice department.
While we will never know if president trump knew about this arrest or not. Its hard to believe, that Without his Green flag, American justice department requested Canadian authorities to arrest this high ranking Chinese executive.
Nevertheless, American NSA knowing it, is more than sufficient to conclude, that while America agreed to ceasefire for next 90 days in trade war with China, it has launched war on another front with china.
few days ago, we have posted a video about ceasefire announcement in between America and China, we have no hesitation to accept that we were dead wrong in underestimating the desire of current american administration to fight a prolonged war with China.
America has started multi dimensional war with China, and trade war is just one dimension of this America China war for supremacy in the world.
In fact, while whole world blames president trump for starting the trade war, media has almost neglected the fact, that American treasury department has earned additional 7 Billion Dollars thanks to American trade tariffs on China.
Even if ceasefire is announced, these old tariffs are still in place, thus American government is still earning hard cash.
Now, you would say, American companies and consumers have paid this money to government. Because tariffs are nothing but taxes, which increase cost of Chinese goods in American market.
That's fine, but no body is stopping these companies to make in america, or make in any country other than China.
In fact, Majority of American companies have seriously started thinking about moving their supply chains away from China.
Now please consider this fact, Since our dear Indian media is very busy covering marriages and reality shows, it naturally forgot to cover that in 2018 foreign companies invested 38 Billion dollars in India but 32 Billion Dollars in China.
In last 18 years, for the first time India received more funding from global multinational companies than China.
As we have always argued, This trade war in between China and America is an opportunity for India. Now the numbers have started reflecting this reality as well.
However, if we don't welcome companies and create favorable environment for them, we may miss this opportunity as well.
Returning to the arrest of CFO of Huawei , now Canadian legal trial is going on about her extradition to America.
That's why, China has threatened Canada to release her, or to accept full responsibility for the serious consequences.
Now, it depends on the spine of Canadian courts and government if they extradite her to america, or release her on bail.
In simple words the case against her is, that American financial institution were told, that a separate chinese company is doing transaction with Iran despite American sanctions.
Now American authorities have concluded, that its unofficial subsidiary of Huawei .
Basically, Huawei is being punished for selling networking equipment to Iran, which calls for death to America.
The fundamental question which no one is asking is, can Huawei engage with Iran without green flag from Chinese president Xi jinping?
The answer is clear No.
In fact, there is nothing new in this, We all know that China has done it always with Pakistan, Iran and North Korea.
Despite american sanctions, Pakistan has become nuclear state, thanks to China.
Despite American sanctions, Iran and North Korea are about to develop capability to hit American main land with Nuclear bomb, thanks again goes to China.
if current American sanctions are not working on Iran and North Korea, large credit goes to China.
That's why like in the past, America stopped arresting small employees of some unknown companies for violating the American sanctions.
This time, they have arrested Chief Financial official of Huawei , which is chinese crown jewel only to send message across the world about the cost of violating american sanctions.
Needless to say, this arrest damages the reputation of Chinese company Huawei , which has built itself by stealing the intellectual property of american company cisco
As a matter of fact, warrant to arrest her has been issued months in advance. therefore its well crafted move, not a sudden arrest of a high ranking official.
Right now, Only Canada is facing Chinese heat, because trial is going on there, but if she is extradited to America and sentenced for 30 years prison, America will have to face the chinese heat.
As it appears, when Both America and China have agreed for ceasefire in trade war, the seeds were shown for next round of trade war even before the completion of 90 days period .
Now it would be interesting to see, if China retaliates by arresting American executive visiting China. In fact Huawei's American rival Cisco has warned its staff against China travel.
Now it appears, it was gross underestimation to call it as America China Trade War, it should be at least called America China Cold War.
