Hello Friends, welcome to Real Quick Info channel, if you like our work, and want to support us, please share this video with your friends. Lets discuss our Real Quick Analysis.
Last week, news reports have been widely published that next month Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is going to sign the deal for 10 Billion Dollar refinery in Gwadar.
Understandably, since then our Pakistani viewers have been boasting about this proposed deal in their comments.
First of all, we want to make it clear, we sincerely wish all of them good luck for this project. Hopefully, this oil refinery project will finally turn into a game changer for Pakistan.
But we are little bit confused here, Pakistani leaders have been saying that Saudi Arabia is set to become an important partner of China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
Some news report have even inserted 'S' in CPEC to make it China Pakistan Saudi Arabia Economic Corridor project.
Interestingly, As per Chinese report, they still consider CPEC as a bilateral project in between China and Pakistan. At best they are ready to consider this proposed Saudi Refinery as part of Chinese belt and Road initiative.
As per Pakistani minister, Saudi Arabia is going to become third strategic partner of CPEC, how come Pakistan alone has decided to make Saudi Arabia Third Strategic partner. This has left China utterly confused. few Chinese experts left welcoming Saudi Arabia as partner of CPEC, but rest are are not ready to consider Saudi Arabia as part of CPEC.
It appears, for last couple of months, news regarding Saudi inclusion in CPEC has been floating around, but Pakistani government didn't get time to discuss about this with their all weather friend China.
Anyways, today we will not discuss, what we think about this refinery project, rather we will quickly cover what has been spoken about this project in National Assembly of Pakistan, and widely reported in Pakistani media.
As an Independent candidate Muhammad Aslam Bhutani has won Gwadar constituency in last Pakistani General election.
Therefore, he is qualified to air his views about Gwadar more than anyone else sitting in Punjab and Sindh. Rather than abusing us in the comment section, our Pakistani friends would do better to see their face in the mirror Mr Bhutani is holding for them now.
They should not foolishly claim, that he has been sponsored by Raw, because he is an elected lawmaker of Pakistan representing people of Gwadar.
Against proposed Saudi refinery project, he threatened to hold protest during the upcoming visit of Saudi Crown Prince next month.
His main grievance is that local representatives of Gwadar are totally ignored when Pakistan government has been planning for such projects.
He clearly said “We will tell the Saudi prince that elected representatives of the port city have not been taken on board regarding the development activities,”
Since Gwadar is not for sale, Imran Khan government must take elected representative into confidence regarding development activities carried out in Gwadar.
Despite being representative of Gwadar, he has no idea where the chinese money has been spent in Gwadar.
Rather surprisingly, he claimed that Gwadar has been treated like football. In his words “It was first handed over to Singapore, then China and now Saudi Arabia, while the people of Gwadar are suffering from water and electricity shortage,”
Airing local resentment, he is clearly in favor of whole world getting benefit from Gwadar, but the benefit from this port should be first for the people of Gwadar.
in fact, Mr Bhutani is not alone here, another Baloch party, which is even part of Imran Khan government in Pakistan, has also been kept in the dark regarding development and CPEC project related activities in Balochistan.
Rather significantly, Just after winning the election for Gwadar, In August 2018, he clearly highlighted that CPEC project came to Pakistan only because of Gwadar's beaches, but issues and problems of Gwadar have never been resolved.
While whole world media talks about the development of Gwadar, but for him, Gwadar looks like a stone age era settlement where there is no water, gas, electricity or jobs.
If Gwadar has been in stone age in August 2018, we should not assume that within 6 months China has developed it, and now it has become modern age port town like Singapore.
Understandably, now that elected representatives of Balochistan are airing their views against CPEC injustice, they will be pressurized not to speak on such sensitive matters.
But sometimes we really wonder, Pakistani establishment is not only making whole world fool, but also making their own people fools.
Pakistani people are boasting proposed oil refinery in Gwadar, but elected representative get to know about it from media. if their region is being developed, should they not be at least informed before the statements are made in the media.
Anyways, Mr Bhutani must be appreciated for speaking the truth of Gwadar being stuck in Stone age.
We know, its waste to expect that people of Pakistan will introspect to figure out the ways to develop Baluchistan in true sense.
Commenting on social media doesn't bring any development. Hopefully Our Pakistan friends will listen to what their Baloch brothers are telling.
However, there is lesson for all of us to learn here, we all fall for China and Pakistan's propaganda about billions of dollars being spent in CPEC projects. With each passing day, we hear some projects getting included and other projects getting excluded from CPEC.
Whenever a Pakistani minister speaks, he provides different amount of Chinese investment in CPEC projects.
This time, we have elected representative of Gwadar speaking about the ground reality. now its up to us, whether we want to remain obsessed with the lies spoken in Islamabad, or the listen to truth coming directly from son of the soil.
As per your analysis, Should elected representative of Baluchistan not protest against game changer Saudi Oil Refinery project in Gwadar?
