Until now, we have always been discussing about Gwadar port, but today Pakistani Prime minister has performed ground breaking of new Gwadar International Airport.



As you can expect, This new airport is being built with 230 Million Dollar funding coming from China.



With in next three years, the construction on this air port will be completed. Afterwards, this will be second largest Airport of Pakistan.



Incidentally, high level of official in Chinese embassy has posted these four photos on twitter saying that today they will show all of us different Gwadar Port.



While our Pakistani friend can feel happy about the infrastructure built up here, but very basic question is, where are the ships on this port? where are the containers?

Anyways, we all know the reality of Gwadar and Hambantota swimming pools.



Lets quickly discuss, about Hambantota Air port, which is regarded as world's emptiest airport.



For last two years, Sri Lankan government and fake experts sitting in India, have been trying hard to let India feed this infrastructural white elephant.



Thankfully, Indian government has not gathered courage to indulge in such luxurious project, which are needed by no one.



Needless to say, out of 209 Million Dollars spent on this air port, China has provided 190 Million Dollars.



Now, it appears, As present of Gwadar port and hambantota port is same, similarly Future of Gwadar airport will be similar to present of Hambantota airport.



Anyways, lets quickly cover, how Pakistan has trapped China into another infrastructural white elephant.



Interestingly, Memorandum of understanding for an airport in Gwadar was signed back in the year 2015.



After first feasibility study satisfied Chinese authorities, Pakistani leaders asked China that Gwadar would need brand new big airport. therefore Poor China conducted fresh study for greenfield airport.



But Chinese company refused to start the work on this project, because there was no final plan for the electricity supply to this airport.



Now, you see, Only smart Pakistan can dream about an airport without electricity.



Entire Gwadar town gets electricity from Iran, many announcements have been made on 300 MW coal fired power plant under CPEC.



Hopefully, before starting construction of this airport, Pakistani prime minister will ask his officials if Gwadar port will be built first or Gwadar power plant?



You all know, Gwadar city is also suffering from scarcity of water. To quench their own thirst, Chinese have built desalination plant.



Its fine that people of Gwadar don't have water to drink, But from where the water for this Gwadar Airport will come?



It appears, Pakistan wants to build an airport without water as well.



Anyways, we should remain optimistic about this Gwadar Airport. Port alone failed to transform Gwadar into Dubai of Pakistan. Hopefully, this upcoming airport will certainly defeat Dubai International Airport and become busiest airport in the world.



Here another important thing to notice, after keeping Balochistan under its forcible occupation, people of Gwadar are still suffering, but As per chief of Punjabi army, Balochistan is the future of Pakistan.



We don't know, what will be Balochistan for Pakistan, but it may become a curse of China.

they need not worry, One day, CPEC will certainly prove to be a game changer for Pakistan.
