You might know, last year India excluded Chinese telecom companies from 5G trials, only to include them later.



However, Government is yet to take final call to allow Chinese companies take part in Indian 5G trials.



Few days ago, many of us were supporting Boycott of Chinese goods, the question is, Why no one is asking about banning Chinese equipment in 5G infrastructure of India?



As per the CEO of Huawei India, Just like Electricity, 5G will transform our lives.



As you are watching this video on 4G network,  you should be ready to have 5G network, which will be 100 times faster than your 4G network.



Needless to say, 5G will not only provide faster internet to you, but connect all devices with each others.



In simple words, 5G will transform information communication in India.



Therefore can we afford to give its control to China, which is our number one enemy?





With in this year, 5G trials are expected to start in India, and in next year, India may begin the auction of 5G spectrum with possible launch of 5G in the year 2021.



When we are in election season, no body knows, what is the stand of government and opposition towards allowing Chinese telecom companies to build Indian 5G network.



Indian telecom companies obviously want government to allow Chinese telecom equipment companies, because they want to buy cheap equipment to offer cheap services.



In fact, This argument is being supported by telecom experts world wide.



But these fake experts have forgotten that Reliance Jio has built its entire 4G network using Samsung equipment, and its now offering cheapest data in the world.



We understand, these companies don't care about offering cheaper data to us customers, all they care about their own profits.



Yesterday, Germany started auction of 5G spectrum, but it has not excluded Chinese company Huawei from selling 5G networking equipment to German Telecom companies.



Interestingly, as per the CEO of American Telecom company AT&T, German telecom companies are being forced to use Huawei 5G equipment, because they have been using Huawei 4G equipment.



Now if they buy 5G equipment from AT&T, Huawei is not going to allow connection with its 4G equipment.



In simple words, if a company has bought Huawei 4G equipment in the past, its stuck with Huawei 5G equipment for future.



While its difficult to totally believe in what the CEO of AT&T has said. but another fact is, even Huawei has declined to comment on his remarks.



That's where India has a problem, Can we afford to have such strategic dependence on Chinese companies?



Its true that world wide, tests have been conducted on Chinese telecom equipment and no solid evidence has been found of them transmitting data back to China.



But the point is, we are not worried about past and present, we are talking about future.



In fact, all you need, another small software update to convert telecom equipment into a spying machine, or to shut it down totally.



More importantly, for national security reasons, Chinese laws allow governments to use anything under its control.



Can  there be a guarantee that Chinese telecom equipment will never be used for spying on India?



The answer is clear No. We cannot afford to give our control in the hands of China, with which we have longest disputed border in the world.



This is the same China, which has fourth time, blocked Indian attempt to declare Masood Azhar as global terrorist.



For 14 out of 15 Security council members, Evidences presented by India were enough. Only Special China is still expecting some solid evidences from India.



Moreover, when we Indians started supporting the call for the Boycott of Chinese goods, Chinese newspaper Global Times said, that India doesn't have capability to produce on large scale.



As per this newspaper, and we often hear our Chinese friends saying that Indians express Anti China sentiments by using made in China laptop and Mobile



Unfortunately, many Indian experts also support and propagate this Chinese argument, but the basic question is, Has China given these laptop and mobile for free to us?



Instead We have paid with our hard earned money. By selling its cheap goods, China has not bought our freedom of expression.



Moreover, Today China is very proud of being world's second largest economy, It must remember that Indian money has big role in that as well.



Despite having massive trade surplus with India, if China can oppose India in security council and NSG, Why we cannot oppose China while using Chinese goods.



Anyways, returning to today's topic, we cannot change what has happened in the past, but we can certainly choose the future.



That's why, Next Indian government must not allow Indian telecom companies to participate in 5G auction if they plan to use Chinese 5G equipment.



If we allow Chinese equipment in 5G infrastructure, these same fake experts who are now supporting Chinese 5G equipment will threaten that, India should never fight with China, because China can bring our entire communication system down in case of a conflict.
