We are used to hear about Pakistan getting Billions of Dollars from Saudi Arabia, UAE and China.



Sometimes, we regret,  we smart Indians have been victim of Informational warfare of I S I as much as naive Pakistani people.



You might know, Early this month,  for Infrastructure projects, Pakistan was seeking 50 Billion Rupees funding from World Bank.



But,  on 5th of March, World bank declined to provide Funding to Pakistan for this financial Year.



However, World bank decided to continue funding for agriculture, health and education sectors in Pakistan.



Needless to say, neither Indian nor Pakistani media chose to ask this simple question, why World bank is not gathering courage to provide infrastructure funding to Pakistan?



Anyways, now we talk about how world bank funding has transformed Balochistan?



You all are aware of water scarcity problem in Balochistan, Perhaps that's why back in June 2016, World bank had approved 200 Million Dollar funding to build new irrigation infrastructure in order to boost farmers income in Balochistan.



As Pakistani Army chief has recently said, Balochistan is future of Pakistan. Due to this project, around 43000 farm households were supposed to get benefits. Therefore you can assume, that with in last two years, this money would have been spent properly in Balochistan.





Though Pakistani news paper Dawn has reported that on 29th of March, World Bank has suspended the water resource development project for Balochistan.



It didn't care to investigate further why World bank was forced to suspend such an important project.



Anyways, Pakistan Today has reported, Due to allegation of corruption and on going probe, World bank had to suspend the work and ask government of Balochistan to restructure the scope and governance arrangement for this project.



In simple words, World Bank wants to ensure, there is no corruption in such an important project in future.



Now, you might easily answer, If there can be corruption in world bank sponsored project, will CPEC project be implemented honestly?



Every one talks about money flowing from all sides in Pakistan, but no body cares, how its being spent?



Perhaps, that's why 90% of people in Balochistan are still living under poverty line.



Sadly, Naturally Richest Balochistan ranks as poorest province of Pakistan.



While Pakistan is dreaming about hitting oil and gas jackpot in next three weeks and its fate is going to change very soon.



Similarly, Massive reserves of natural gas  was discovered back in the year 1952 in Balochistan. Even now,Sui gas field is the biggest natural gas field in Pakistan.



Perhaps Pakistani authorities must answer simple question, why there is no gas facility in Balochistan.  Why Baloch people are still forced to cut trees and burn it in their kitchen?



If the gas of sui gas field had been used in the kitchens of Balochistan, Sui gas pipeline network would not have to suffer from explosion every month.



Anyways, its waste to expect that Pakistan will fulfill even basic needs of Baloch people.



Pakistan and China will build port, airport and road network in Balochistan, but they will not provide water, electricity and gas to poor people of Balochistan.



By the way, now a days, a number of our Pakistani friends ask us, why are we focusing on the problems of Balochistan.



To them, our simple question is, despite India hitting the sanitation coverage of 99 percent, why Whole Pakistan dream about Indian toilets.



Rather than telling us to stop covering news reports about Pakistan, our Pakistani friends must ask their own media, why they don't focus at the problems inside.
