10 अप्रैल को पाकिस्तान के ऑनलाइन अख़बार ARY न्यूज़ में छपी खबर के मुताबिक, ड्रिलिंग एक्टिविटी में पाकिस्तान ने बड़ी सफलता हांसिल कर ली है, और इस बारे में रिपोर्ट प्राइम मिनिस्टर इमरान खान के लिए तैयार की जा रही है.

लेकिंग 12 अप्रैल को पाकिस्तान के ही अख़बार The न्यूज़ में छपी खबर के अनुसार, इंडस G ब्लॉक में अब ड्रिलिंग को बीच में ही हाल्ट कर दिया गया है.

सबसे पहले तो इस न्यूज़ रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, जब ड्रिलिंग एक्टिविटी चालू हुई थी, तब आयल और गैस के जैकपोट की सम्भावना 19 % थी.

यह एक अलग बात है, की आम पाकिस्तानी 90% सफलता की सम्भावना के बारे में सोचकर सपना देख रहा था, की जल्द ही पाकिस्तान का काया कल्प होने वाला है.

शायद आपको याद हो. पहले बोर वेल में जब ड्रिलिंग 4799 मीटर की गहराई तक पहुंची, तो किक प्रेशर बिल्ड हो गया. और unsafe ऑपरेशन के कारण मार्च 23 को पहला बोरवेल बंद कर दिया गया.

लेकिंग इस किक प्रेशर ने पाकिस्तानी प्रधानमंत्री को गुलाबी किक देदी, और उन्होंने आम पाकिस्तानियो को सपने थोक में बेचना चालू कर दिया.

कोई बात नहीं, पहला वेल बंद होने के बाद, पास में ड्रिलिंग चालू कर दी गयी. इस पहली साइड ट्रैकिंग में ड्रिलिंग 3100 मीटर की गहराई तक ही पहुंची थी. और इस बोर वेल को भी बंद कर दिया गया, इसका तो यही मतलब होगा की, इस बोरवेल में कुछ हांसिल नहीं हुआ.

इसके बाद पास में ही दूसरी साइड ट्रैकिंग चालू कर दी गयी. जिसे 5460 मीटर की गहराई तक जाना था. लेकिंग जब बोरवेल की गहराई 4810 मीटर हुई, तो 8  अप्रैल को ड्रिलिंग फिर बीच में ही रोक दी गयी.

शायद यही ड्रिलिंग रोके जाने की खबर ने ARY न्यूज़ के सोर्सेज की उम्मीद जगा दी होगी, की पाकिस्तान के हाथो आयल और गैस का बड़ा भंडार लगने वाला है.

लेकिन The न्यूज़ में छपी खबर के मुताबिक, इस दूसरी साइड ट्रैकिंग में और ड्रिलिंग करने के पहले, बोरवेल में सीमेण्टिंग करना जरूरी हो गया है, क्यों की उस गहराई पर बोरवेल बहुत unstable है.

लेकिन परेशानी यह है, की ड्रिलिंग के पहले सीमेण्टिंग की जरूरत के कारण, पूरी ड्रिलिंग एक्टिविटी बहुत स्लो हो गयी है.

पहले ड्रिलिंग को इस महीने के अंत तक ख़तम होना था, लेकिन 700 मीटर की ड्रिलिंग करने का काम अब मई महीने में भी जा सकता है.

जबकि टाइड सीजन के कारण आगे के समय में ड्रिलिंग करना बहुत मुश्किल हो जाता है. हाई टाइड और ख़राब सामुद्रिक मौसम के कारण, ड्रिलिंग शिप का समुद्र में एक जगह खड़ा होकर ड्रिलिंग करना बहुत मुश्किल होता है.

यद्यपि इस बार ड्रिलिंग के लिए सबसे आधुनिक टेक्नोलॉजी का इस्तेमाल किया जा रहा है, लेकिन आगे के समय में ड्रिलिंग हो पाती है या नहीं, यह इस पर भी निर्भर करेगा, की समुद्र में  टाइड कैसी रहती है.

यह देखना रोचक होगा, की 5460 मीटर तक ड्रिलिंग का काम पूरा किया जाता है या नहीं.

यह भी हो सकता है, की ख़राब समुद्री मौसम के कारण ड्रिलिंग एक्टिविटी को बीच में ही छोड़ दिया जाये,इसलिए  ड्रिलिंग एक्टिविटी के बारे में और अधिक जानने के लिए हमें थोड़ा और इंतजार करना होगा.

क्या पता, आयल और गैस जैकपोट के मिले बिना ही, यह घोसणा कर दी जाये की जल्द ही पाकिस्तान कच्चे तेल का निर्यात करने वाला सबसे बड़ा देश बन जायेगा.

इसलिए इंडस G ब्लॉक की सच्चाई का पता लगाने के लिए हमें थोड़ा और इंतजार करना होगा.

इसके अलावा, जैसा की हमारे कई दर्शकों ने कमेंट किये थे, आयल और गैस का जैकपोट मिलने के बाद भी, जरूरी इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर का विकास करने के लिए कम से कम 5 सालों का समय लगेगा. ताकि  इंडस G ब्लॉक से कच्चा तेल और गैस निकाला जा सके.

कुछ सालों के बाद, पाकिस्तान के आयल और गैस भंडार की सफलता दुनिआ में आयल और गैस की कीमत पर भी निर्भर करेगी.

अगर इंडस G ब्लॉक का तेल ग्लोबल क्रूड आयल की तुलना में महंगा हुआ तो क्या अकल्मन्द पाकिस्तानी लोग इंडस G ब्लॉक के तेल को refine करना पसंद करेंगे?

ऐसा लगता है, आयल और गैस का भंडार मिलने के बाद क्या होगा, इसके बारे में किसी भी पाकिस्तानी के पास सोचने का समय नहीं है.

उन्हें तो आयल और गैस का जैक पॉट हांसिल करने की जल्दी पड़ी हुई है, ताकि वह सोशल मीडिया में इंडियंस के सामने अपनी छाती पीट सकें, की वह दुनिआ में कच्चे तेल के सबसे बड़े उत्पादक बन गए है.

You know, as asked by Pakistani prime minister, whole Pakistan has been praying to hit the biggest oil discovery of this century in this month.

On 10th April, as per news report published in ARY news, offshore drilling has achieved a major success, and report is being prepared for the prime minister of Pakistan.



However, on 12th April, Pakistani news paper The News has published that drilling has been halted in Indus G block.



First of all, as per this news report, the drilling was started with 19% probability of success of hitting oil and gas reserves.



Its a different matter that normal Pakistani was dreaming with the probability of 90% to hit oil and gas jack pot.





As you may recall, when drilling reached 4799 meters, kick pressure was built up in the well. because of unsafe operation, the well was plugged by March 23.





However, this kick pressure has given huge kick to Pakistani prime minister that he started selling dream in wholesale.



Anyways, after first bore bell was plugged, the drilling started nearby. In this first side tracking, the drilling reached down to 3100 meters. Since the hole was blocked, it can be assumed that first side tracking was a failure.



Then second side tracking started nearby, This drilling was to go down up to 5460 meters. but when it reached the depth of 4810 meters, the drilling got stalled on 8th April.



Perhaps, this stalled drilling has given hope to the sources, which told Ary news that Pakistan is near hitting major oil and gas reserves.



Anyways, As per the report in the news, before drilling down further, cementing in the bore well is required because at that depth bore well is not stable enough.



However the problem is, this requirement of cementing before drilling, has slowed down the entire process of drilling.



Earlier drilling was supposed to finish by this month end, but due to this slow process, now the drilling activity for 700 meters may go in the month of May.



Any drilling in month of May is very difficult due to tide season. Due to high tide and rough sea, it will be harder to keep the drilling ship standing in the ship.



Though most sophisticated technology is being used this time to drill, but whether drilling can go on in the month of May or not, depends on the intensity of tides as well.



It would be interesting to see, if drilling till the depth of 5460 meters will be completed or not.



it may also happen, due to rough weather, drilling activity is abandoned. We will have to wait for few weeks to know the result of this drilling activity.





It may also happen that without hitting oil and gas reserves, the claim will be made about Pakistan turning into oil exporting country very soon.



Therefore, we will have to wait for some time to know the reality of drilling in Indus G block.



moreover, as multiple times our viewers have said, even after Pakistan hits massive oil and gas reserves, it will take at least 5 years for them to build the infrastructure to harvest oil and gas from these wells in Indus G block.



Few years down the line, the success of this oil and gas reserve will largely depend on the global oil price.



if oil of Indus G block is costlier than the global crude oil, will smart Pakistani people would like to refine the crude of Indus G block.



It appears, no body in Pakistan cares about what will happen after hitting oil and gas reserves.



All they care about hitting oil and gas jackpot as soon as possible so that they can do their chest thumping of being one of the major oil and gas producing country in front of Indians on Social media.
