you all know, desperate Pakistan is continuously knocking doors of IMF for bailout worth 10 Billion Dollars.
Its interesting to recall that as per world bank's report back in September 2018, The Potential of trade in between India and Pakistan stands at massive 37 Billion Dollars.
You see, very smart Pakistan prefers IMF bailout worth 10 Billion Dollars than trade with India worth 37 Billion Dollars.
Anyways, a country which prefers eating biryaani made of grass than making peace with India, its normal that they can take 22nd bailout from IMF, but they will never stop sponsoring terrorism against India.
Moving forward, You might know, back in June 2018, World bank has approved Khyber Pass Economic Corridor Project. For which, world bank was supposed to provide loan of 460 Million Dollars.
By reducing the transport time and cost, this project was supposed to benefit consumers, producers, and traders in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Other Central Asian Countries.
This Khyber Pass Economic Corridor Project is part of ambitious Pakistan Afghanistan Tajikistan Trade and Transit Agreement.
You know, It has always been dream for Pakistan to connect with Central Asian countries via Afghanistan.
Back in the year 2017, Afghan president had clearly said that if Pakistan doesn't provide Afghanistan transit access to India, Afghanistan will also not provide Pakistan transit access to Central Asia.
two years have passed, but Afghanistan has not changed its position. As per news report published in Pakistani news paper Dawn.
Recently, world bank has organized a meeting in between finance ministers of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan to take this central Asian regional connectivity project forward.
But finance minister of Afghanistan has made it clear, no regional connectivity project makes sense to Afghanistan, if Pakistan doesn't allow in transit facility to Afghanistan with India
If Pakistan doesn't want to trade with India, it should at least allow Afghanistan to trade with India.
But Look at the Pakistani behavior, No progress could be made in the project, and Pakistan said that It would not like to go ahead with the project in near future.
You see, in order to stop seamless goods flow in between India and Afghanistan, Pakistan is ready to stops seamless goods flow in between Pakistan and Central Asia.
In this words, In order to block Indian path, Pakistan is breaking its own bridge to prosperity.
If Pakistan had granted in transit access, there was no need of Cha bahar port and air corridors for trade in between India and Afghanistan.
Anyways, with or Without Pakistan, Indian trade with Afghanistan and other central Asian countries will flourish.
Whatever Pakistan has been doing is expected for all of us, what is surprising for us is that Indian experts frequently suggest, that India should start talks with Taliban as soon as possible.
In last 30 years, Pakistan has consistently supported Taliban despite being on wrong side, then why should India stop supporting Afghanistan government while being on right side?
If Americans are talking to Terrorists of Taliban, should we also blindly follow them and start talks with Terrorists?
You see, despite our experts encouraging India to throw democratic Afghanistan government out of running bus, Afghanistan continues to stick to its friendly stand with India.
Perhaps that's why Pakistan doesn't like the democratic government in Afghanistan, all it wants is puppet regime in Afghanistan.
As far as we think, We must value our friendship with Afghan government, when Pakistan is not ending its illegitimate friendship with Taliban, we must not break our legitimate friendship with Afghan government.
