गुमनाम सूत्रों के हवाले से, पाकिस्तान का एक डेलीगेशन जल्द ही Russia की यात्रा पर जाने वाला है, और पाकिस्तान और रूस के बीच पैंटसीर मिसाइल सिस्टम और T90 टैंक खरीदने के ऊपर बातचीत आगे बढ़ेगी.
इस प्रकार इम्प्रैशन बनाया जा रहा है, जैसे भारत की सफल बालाकोट एयर स्ट्राइक से डरा हुआ पाकिस्तान अब अपनी एयर डिफेंस को और मजबूत करने की चिंता करने लगा है.

क्योंकि उस समय हमें इस न्यूज़ रिपोर्ट पर संदेह हुआ, इसलिए हमने इसे इग्नोर करने का निर्णय लिया था.
लेकिंग रूस और पाकिस्तान के गहराते सम्बन्धो की खबरे छापकर, भारत की मीडिया ने महगाई की मार झेल रहे पाकिस्तानी लोगो को इतराने का मौका दे दिया था.
इस बीच The प्रिंट में छपी रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, रूस के बड़े डिफेंस अधिकारी के अनुसार रूस ने भारत को पहले ही बता दिया है, की रूस पाकिस्तान को कोई हथियार नहीं बेचेगा.
रूस और पाकिस्तान के बीच आपसी मेल जोल केवल आतंकवादिओं के खिलाफ लड़ाई के छेत्र में ही केंद्रित रहेगा.
इस तरह के दोस्ताना के लिए रूस को गुड लक, लेकिन रूस के इसी गुमनाम अधिकारी के अनुसार, रूस भारत के साथ ऐतिहासिक सम्बन्ध को महत्व देता है, और रूस भारतीय रक्षा की बैक बोन बना रहना चाहता है.
जैसा की हमने पहले भी कई बार चर्चा की है, पाकिस्तान को डिफेंस इक्विपमेंट बेचने से, भारत की तुलना में रूस को ज्यादा नुकसान उठाना पड़ेगा.
इस लिए रूस और पाकिस्तान की इस फेक फ्रेंडशिप को लेकर हमें चिंता नहीं करनी चाहिए.
शर्मनाक बात यह है, की किसी एक गुमनाम सोर्स के हवाले से भारतीय मीडिया ने खूब खबर छापी, की पाकिस्तान रूस से पैंटसीर मिसाइल सिस्टम खरीदने वाला है. लेकिन किसी दूसरे गुमनाम सोर्स के हवाले से जब यह ख़बर आयी, की रूस पाकिस्तान को हथियार बेचना नहीं चाहता है, तो हमारी मीडिया ने ऐसी खबर को नजरअंदाज करना ज्यादा उचित समझा.
हम यह नहीं कह रहे हैं, की ज़ी न्यूज़ गलत है, और The प्रिंट सही है. हम सिर्फ यह कह रहे हैं, की दर्शको को पूरा मामला समझाने के लिए क्या इन अख़बारों ने दोनों गुमनाम सोर्सेज की खबर नहीं छापनी चाहिए थी?
अगर आप देखें, तो कभी कभी हमारी मीडिया भी पाकिस्तानी मीडिया की तरह ही behave करती है, वैसे भी पाकिस्तान रूस की दोस्ती को लेकर डर भारत में, तो घमंड पाकिस्तान में खूब बिकता है?
हम तो एक कदम और आगे जाना चाहेंगे, रूस किसी भी देश को अपने डिफेंस इक्विपमेंट बेचने के लिए फ्री है.
रूस चीन को हथियार हमेसा से बेचता आया है, लेकिन हम कभी भी इस बारे में परेशान नहीं होते हैं, तो आखिर जब रूस पाकिस्तान को हथियार बेचे तो हमें क्यों चिंता करनी चाहिए?
अगर हमें चिंता करने का ज्यादा शौक है, तो हमें रूस के चीन को बेचे जाने वाले हथियारों के बारे में सोचना चाहिए, क्योकि चीन हमारा नंबर १ का दुश्मन है.
इसी बीच हम सभी को यह विस्वास दिलाया गया, की जबसे भारत ने इसराइल और अमेरिका से हथियार खरीदने चालू किये, तभी से रूस और पाकिस्तान एक दूसरे के करीब आते चले गए.
इस तरह की बातें हमारे एक्सपर्ट्स के डिफेंसिव ऐटिटूड को दर्शाती है. हम रक्षा उपकरणों के इतने बड़े मार्किट हैं, की रक्षा उपकरण बनाने वाले देशों ने हमारे बारे में चिंता करनी चाहिए.
रूस किसी भी देश को हथियार बेच सकता है, हमें तो अपनी सेना की जरूरत को ध्यान में रखते हुए, बेहतरीन हथियार कम से कम कीमत पर खरीदना चाहिए.
वैसे भी, हमारी फोकस तो डिफेंस इक्विपमेंट के भारत में उत्पादन के ऊपर है.
अगर भारत के लिए विशेष डिफेंस इक्विपमेंट भारत में ही बनाये जायेंगे, तो ये हथियार हमारे दुश्मनो के हाथ में कैसे लग सकते हैं, इस बारे में हमें परेशां नहीं होना पड़ेगा.
इसलिए रूस पाकिस्तान को हथियार नहीं बेचेगा, रूस से यह सुनने के बजाय, हमें रूस को कहना चाहिए, की वह भारत में रक्षा उपकरणों का उत्पादन और बढ़ाये.

Anyways, in last two weeks, you might have read in multiple news papers, that Pakistan wanted to build closer relationship with oldest Indian ally, and therefore Pakistan is interested to buy Pantsir Missile system from Russia.
Quoting a anonymous source, a delegation from Pakistan will visit Russia to finalize the deal, which will include Pakistan buying Pantsir Missile system and T90 Tanks.
Interestingly The impression has been created that Pakistan is looking at Pantsir missile system to make its air defense stronger in response to Indian Balakot air strike.
Whats rather important here is, This news report has been published on the basis of what an anonymous Indian defense ministry official told Zee news. later on, other news papers have published same news in different words.
since we were suspicious about this report, we simply chose to ignore it.
For Pakistani public, it should have been matter of pride, that Indian media is getting worried about increasing defense capabilities of Pakistan.
Interestingly, as per news report published in The Print news paper alone, a high ranking Russian defense official has said, that Russia has already informed India that Russia will not sell any war equipment to Pakistan.
Any cooperation in between Russia and Pakistan will remain limited to fighting against terrorism.
More importantly, as per this official, Russia values historical relationship with India and Russia understand that It has been backbone of Indian defense capabilities.
We have always discussed in the past, by selling defense equipment to Pakistan, Russia has more to lose than India.
Therefore we must stop worrying about Fake Deepening bond of friendship in between Russia and Pakistan.
What is shameful is, quoting some anonymous source, Indian media published again and again news about Pakistan buying pantsir missile system from Russia, But quoting another anonymous source Indian media chose to ignore the report about Russia not interested in selling defense equipment to Pakistan.
We are not saying that Zee news is wrong and The Print is right. All we are saying is, if you want to publish, please cover both anonymous sources to present clear picture to your audience.
if you see, here Indian media behaves similar to Pakistani media. Because fear and pride of Russia Pakistan friendship sells better in both India and Pakistan.
We would like to go step ahead, Russia is free to sell its defense equipment to any country.
We don't worry when Russia sells defense equipment to China, why should we lose our sleep due to news of Russia selling defense equipment to Pakistan.
If we Indians have to worry, we should rather worry about Russia selling defense equipment to China, since China is our number one enemy.
However, This impression has been successfully created among us, that Russia and Pakistan are coming closer to each other, because Indian decided to buy defense equipment from America and Israel in Last one decade.
