लेकिन आप को पता है, चीन ने हमारी इस मूर्खता का जम कर लाभ उठाया है, हमारे बेहद अकल्मन्द नेता बेरोजगारी की समस्या के लिए एक दूसरे के ऊपर दोष मड़ते रहे, लेकिन साल दर साल भारत के बाज़ारों में शातिर चीन के माल की बाढ़ आती रही.
भोले भाले भारत ने one चाइना की पालिसी का दिल से पालन किया, लेकिन हमें तो ऐसा लगता है, जब पैसे कमाने की बात आयी तो चीन ने भी one चाइना की पालिसी का दिल से पालन नहीं किया है.
अगर आपने नोटिस किया हो, जबकि डरे हुई भारत ने ताइवान की कंपनियों के भारत में निवेश का स्वागत नहीं किया, चालाक चीन ने ताइवान की कंपनियों का दिल खोल कर स्वागत किया है.
उदाहरण के लिए, ताइवान की कंपनी फोक्सकोन एप्पल के iphone चीन में assemble करती है, और फिर उन्हें अमेरिका समेत दुनिया भर के बाज़ारों में चीन से एक्सपोर्ट किया जाता है.
बच्चों वाला सवाल यह है, की जब चीन स्वतंत्र ताइवान को नहीं स्वीकार करता है, तो उस देस की कंपनियां चीन में उत्पादन कैसे कर सकती है.
इससे पहले की ताइवान की कंपनियां चीन में उत्पादन करें, शक्तिशाली चीन ने ताइवान के मैन लैंड चाइना में विलय पर जोर क्यों नहीं दिया?
कहने की जरूरत नहीं है, अपने इस लालच को जायज़ ठहराने के लिए चीन के पास कई सुन्दर बहाने भी होंगे, लेकिन बड़ा सवाल यह है, जब ताइवान की कंपनियां बड़े पैमाने पर चीन में अपनी फैक्ट्री लगा रही थी, तब भारत के नेताओं ने रेत में अपना सर क्यों गाड़ लिया?
जैसा की आप सभी जानते हैं, अमेरिका और चीन के बीच अभी लम्बी चलने वाली ट्रेड वॉर के कारण चीन से आये माल की कीमत अमेरिकी बाजार में बढ़ गयी है.
प्रेसिडेंट ट्रम्प ने खुद कहा है, की यदि कंपनियां चीन पर लगे टेर्रिफ से बचना चाहती हैं, तो या तो वह अमेरिका में उत्पादन करें, अथवा यह कंपनियां चीन के अलावा किसी भी अन्य देश में उत्पादन कर सकती हैं.
आपको याद होगा, ट्रम्प के टेर्रिफ्स लगने के पहले ही, चीन में लेबर कॉस्ट तेजी से बढ़ रही थी.
इन सभी फैक्टर्स को ध्यान में रखते हुए, ताइवान की सर्कार ने पहले ही वेलकम बैक प्रोग्राम की शुरुआत कर दी है, ताकि ताइवान की कंपनियां अपनी फैक्ट्री चीन से उखाड़कर ताइवान में लगाना चालू करें.
यह बड़ी स्वाभाविक बात है, भारत में labor सस्ता है, इसलिए ताइवान की कंपनियां भारत की और बड़ी आशा भरी नज़रों से देखती हैं.
इन फैक्ट ताइवान भारत से फ्री ट्रेड एग्रीमेंट के लिए बात चीत भी कर रहा है.
जैसा की ताइवान के साथ व्यापर करने से भी भारत को व्यपारिक घाटा होता है, इसलिए भारत ने फ्री एंड फेयर ट्रेड एग्रीमेंट पर जोर देना चाहिए.
लेकिन ताइवान के साथ अपने व्यापारिक घाटे के बारे में अभी ज्यादा चिंता करने की जरूरत नहीं है, क्योकि वैसे भी कम्युनिस्ट चीन की तुलना में डेमोक्रेटिक ताइवान के साथ ट्रेड डेफिसिट का होना ज्यादा अच्छा है.
पॉइंट सिंपल है, जब ताइवान की कंपनियां चीन ने उत्पादन करके, दुनिया भर में बेच सकती है, तो भारत में उत्पादन और भारत से निर्यात के लिए ताइवान की कंपनियों का भारत में स्वागत क्यों नहीं हो सकता है?
हम वेबकूफ होंगे, यदि हम सोचेंगे, की यह कंपनियां मजबूर होकर भारत दौड़ी चली आएँगी.
हमें तो इन कंपनियों के लिए स्वागत योग्य वातावरण का निर्माण करना होगा.
बिज़नेस स्टैण्डर्ड में छपी खबर के मुताबिक, ताइवान की कंपनियों के साथ केंद्रीय सर्कार अच्छा व्यहवार करती है, लेकिन काम तो राज्य सर्कार की जमीन पर होना है, इन कंपनियों को दिक्कत वही पर आती है?
आखिर कब तक हमारी सरकारें बेरोजगारी का रोना रोती रहेंगी, लेकिन उद्योगों का स्वागत नहीं करेंगी?
ताइवान की कंपनियां मेक इन इंडिया प्रोग्राम में भाग लें, इसके लिए स्पेसल जोन का निर्माण क्या नहीं हो सकता है?
लेकिन इसके होने के पहले, ताइवान और भारत के बीच कम से कम unofficial लेवल पर ही सही, फ्री एंड फेयर एग्रीमेंट तो होने ही चाहिए, ताकि आपसी व्यापार और तेजी से फल फूल सके.
हम तो यहाँ तक कहना चाहेंगे, चीन को कैसा भी लगता रहे, हमें ताइवान के भारत में निवेश का खुले दिल से स्वागत करना चाहिए.

India has tried its best to follow one china policy. It appears China has itself not followed one china policy, when it comes to making money.
If you have noticed, while India didn't welcome investment from Taiwanese companies, China had embraced them wholeheartedly.
to give you simple example - Taiwanese companies like Foxconn are making apple iphones in Chinese factories, and shipping those phones to American market.
If China doesn't recognize Taiwan, how can it let Taiwanese companies to manufacture in China?
Why China has not called for unification of Taiwan into mainland china before Taiwanese companies manufacture in China?
Needless to say, China will have some beautiful excuse to justify its lust for money, but bigger question is, why India buried its head in the sand when Taiwanese companies were building manufacturing plants in China.
As we have discussed in the past, Thanks to trade war in between America and China, The cost of Chinese products have gone up in American market.
President Trump himself asked companies to either make in America, or make in any country other than China to avoid tariffs.
You all know, even before President Trump imposed tariffs, the cost of labor has been increasing in the china.
Taking all these factors in mind, Taiwanese government has launched welcome back program for Taiwanese companies to make in Taiwan by shifting their production lines from China to Taiwan.
its obvious, for labor intensive industries, these Taiwanese companies look at India to relocate their factories from China.
In fact, Taiwan is actively talking to India for Free trade agreement.
Given that India has trade deficit with Taiwan as well, we would prefer to have free and fair trade agreement with Taiwan.
but we should not worry too much about trade deficit with Taiwan in the beginning. you know, trade deficit with democratic Taiwan is much better than Trade deficit with Communist China.
The point is simple, Taiwanese companies make products in China and ship them to India and whole world, why cannot they be welcome to make their products in India and export them.
We would be foolish nation if we think that these companies will come to India on their own.
We got to create welcoming environment for them.
As per report published in Business standard newspaper, Taiwanese companies had good experience with Central government, but they faced problems with state governments, where work actually happens on the ground.
How long our government keep crying about lack of jobs, but don't welcome industries to create jobs.
Why we cannot create special zones for Taiwanese companies to make in India.
but even before it can happen, India and Taiwan should have at least unofficial agreement so that the trade in between both countries can flourish in future.
We have no doubt in saying, disregarding how china feels, we should welcome Taiwanese investment in India.
