उस समय दुनिया को साथ लेकर चीन पर दवाब बनाने के बजाय, फ़िलीपीन्स की नयी सर्कार ने स्मार्टली सोचा, की जब चीन के साथ प्यार से काम हो सकता है, तो दुश्मनी क्यों की जाये.
लेकिन फ़िलीपीन्स की सर्कार की नींद तो पिछले महीने टूटी, जब चीन की मेरीटाइम मिलिशिया के जहाजों ने फ़िलीपीन्स के थितु आइलैंड को घेर लिया.
उस समय फिलीपीन्स के राष्ट्रपति ने चीन को धमकी दी थी, की उनके सैनिक लड़ने को तैयार हैं, भले ही इसका मतलब आत्महत्या क्यों न हो.
तभी फ़िलीपीन्स के कॉस्ट गार्ड की तरफ से रिपोर्ट आयी, की उन्होंने स्कारबोरो आइलैंड के पास 7 से 12 नॉटिकल माइल्स के बीच चीन की नेवी के युद्ध पोत देखे हैं.
आपको पता होगा, साउथ China sea में स्कारबोरो आइलैंड के ऊपर चीन और फ़िलीपीन्स के बीच विवाद वर्ष 2012 से चल रहा है.
लेकिन फिर भी फ़िलीपीन्स ने कुछ नहीं किया, और इसका परिणाम अब देखिये.
ग्लोबल मीडिया में इस बात को कवर किया जा रहा है, की फ़िलीपीन्स के मछुआरों की एक नाव शांति से साउथ चाइना सी के रीड बैंक के पास लंगर डाल के खड़ी थी.
तभी चीन की एक नाव ने उसमे टक्कर मार दी, और फ़िलीपीन्स की नाव समुद्र में डूब गयी.
इस प्रकार नाव में सवार 22 मछुआरों को भगवान की दया पर छोड़ दिया गया. भला हो, वियतनाम की नाव का जिसने मछुआरों को डूबने से बचा लिया.
चीन के झूठे ऑफिसियल स्टेटमेंट के मुताबिक, यह समुद्र में होने वाला एक आम ट्रैफिक एक्सीडेंट था.
चीन के आधुनिक मछुआरों के पास सॅटॅलाइट टेक्नोलॉजी जैसी आधुनिक सुविधाएँ होती है, तो आखिर चीन की नाव कैसे फ़िलीपीन्स की नाव से टकरा गयी.
वैसे भी अगर यह एक एक्सीडेंट ही था, तो मित्र देश फ़िलीपीन्स के डूब रहे मछुआरों को बचाने के बजाय, चीन की नाव टक्कर मारकर भाग क्यों गयी.
आप सभी जानते हैं, चीन दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी मेरीटाइम मिलिशिया पालता है, यह मेरीटाइम मिलिशिया आगे रहती है, और इसे पीछे से चीन की नौसेना मजबूती के साथ सपोर्ट करती है.
इस बात की सम्भावना है, की चीन की जिस नाव ने पिछले रविवार को फ़िलीपीन्स की नाव को डुबो दिया, वह चीन की मेरीटाइम मिलिशिया का ही हिस्सा हो.
अब आप पूछ सकते हैं, की रीड बैंक में ऐसा क्या है, जो चीन ने फ़िलीपीन्स की नाव को डुबो दिया?
इस का जवाब आसान है, रीड बैंक में नेचुरल गैस के विशाल भंडार हैं, सायद इसीलिए फ़िलीपीन्स के एनर्जी डिपार्टमेंट के मुताबिक, रीड बैंक अभी तक न खोदा गया सोने का पहाड़ है.
जबकि रीड बैंक फ़िलीपीन्स के एक्सक्लूसिव इकनोमिक जोन के अंदर आता है, फिर भी लालची चीन इस द्वीप पर अपना दावा पेश करता है, इस विवाद के कारन ही, फ़िलीपीन्स ने इस एरिया में गैस और तेल की खोज को बंद कर दिया था.
लेकिंग अब तो चीन फ़िलीपीन्स के मछुआरों को भी रीड बैंक के चारों और मछली पकड़ने से रोक रहा है. चीन के दावों का सम्मान करते हुए, फ़िलीपीन्स ने रीड बैंक पर ऑइल और गैस की खोज रोक दी थी, अब चीन का और तुस्टीकरण करते हुए, क्या फ़िलीपीन्स के मछुआरों ने वहां पर मछली पकड़ना भी बंद कर देना चाहिए.
इसी बीच फ़िलीपीन्स के राष्ट्रपति साइलेंट मोड में बने हुए हैं, लेकिन उनके प्रवक्ता ने, चीन से इस घटना की जांच करने को कहा है, और चीन की नाव में सवार चिनिओ को दंड देने का आह्वाहन किया है, क्योकि उनहोंने क्रूरता से भरा गैर मानवीय आक्रामक काम किया है.
अच्छी बात यह है, फ़िलीपीन्स के लोगों ने चीन के राजा के आक्रामक व्यहवहार का सडकों पर विरोध किया है.
चीन की यह कार गुजारी हमें फिर से सिखाती है, की चीन का तुस्टीकरण करने से, चीन आक्रामक होना बंद नहीं करता है.
इसी बीच हमारी मीडिया साउथ चाइना सी में चीन के आक्रामक कारनामो पर ज्यादा ध्यान नहीं दे पाती है, लेकिन याद रहे, अगर आज हमें खड़े खड़े फ़िलीपीन्स का तमाशा देखते रहे, तो एक दिन जरूर आएगा, जब चीन की नाव हिन्द महासागर में भारतीय मछुआरों की नावौं को टक्कर मार के डुबो देगी.

Few days ago we discussed, that Philippines coast guard had seen warships of Chinese Navy with in 7 to 12 nautical miles of Scarborough Island.
You might know, On this island, the standoff in between China and Philippines has been going on since year 2012.
But Philippines didn't do anything, the result is,
Yesterday, it has been reported widely in the global media that a Philippine vessel was peacefully anchored near Reed Bank in South China sea.
But a Chinese vessel rammed with this Philippine boat causing it to sink.
All 22 fisherman on board were left at the mercy of gods.
Thankfully a Vietnamese boat rescued all of them.
As per official Chinese statement, this was an ordinary maritime traffic accident
However, Chinese fishing boats are equipped with satellite technology, how can they collide with standing Philippine vessel?
Moreover, if it was an accident, Rather than rescuing the crew of sinking Philippine vessel, why Chinese vessel ran away after hitting?
You all know, China operates largest maritime militia in the whole world. This maritime militia remains on the front while being backed strongly by Chinese Navy.
Its quite possible, this Chinese vessel that has sunk Philippine boat on last Sunday, might be part of Chinese maritime militia.

But now China is not even allowing Philippine fisherman to catch fish near Reed bank. Succumbing to Chinese claims, Philippines stopped exploring oil and gas in this area, now it can also stop fishing in this area to appease China.
While president of Philippines is sitting silently, his spokesman has demanded that China should investigate and punish crew of Chinese boat, who are responsible for this inhuman and barbaric act of aggression.
Thankfully people of Philippines have protested coward action of Chinese king Xi Jinping.
This Chinese action must again teach us, that by appeasing china, you should not expect that China will be less aggressive,
Unfortunately, our Indian media doesn't highlight these aggressive chinese acts in South China sea. If we don't stand with Philippines Today, tomorrow Chinese fishing vessel will sink Indian fishing vessel in Indian ocean.
