आप सभी को पता है, की पाकिस्तानी अवाम महगाई की करारी मार झेल रही है. लेकिन हमारा ध्यान इस और कम ही जाता है, की चीन के लोग भी महगाई की मार से परेशान हो रहे हैं.
चीन के ऑफिसियल Data के मुताबिक, मई महीने में इन्फ्लेशन 2.7 % थी. जो की पिछले 15 महीनो में सबसे ज्यादा इन्फ्लेशन थी, सिंपल शब्दो में पिछले 15 महीनो के दौरान मई महीने में चीन में महगाई सबसे तेज गति से बढ़ी है.
महगाई की समस्या को और बिकराल करते हुए, खाद्य पदार्थों की कीमतों में मई महीने के दौरान 7.7 % की वृद्धि हुई है. जैसा की आप जानते होंगे, फ़ूड प्राइस के तेजी से बढ़ने का प्रमुख कारण पोर्क की कीमतों में भारी इजाफा है. पोर्क की कीमतें पिछले एक साल में 18 फ़ीसदी बढ़ गयी हैं.
इसी बीच चीन की ऑफिसियल फोरकास्ट के मुताबिक, इस साल के अंत तक पोर्क की कीमतों में 70 % का भारी इजाफा होने वाला है.
आपको मालूम होगा, की अफ्रीकन स्वाइन फीवर disease के कारण चीन ने अपने 21 फ़ीसदी यानि की 7 करोड़ पिग्स को मौत के घाट उतार दिया है, लेकिन unofficial एस्टिमेट्स की माने, तो चीन ने अपने 50 फीसदी पिग्स को मार डाला है.
चीन के राजा बढ़ी बढ़ी बातें करते पूरी दुनिया में घुमते फिर रहे हैं, लेकिन चीन के सभी प्रांतों में आगामी फसल के ऊपर आर्मी वॉर्म नमक कीड़ा लग गया है. इस कीड़े के कारण कॉर्न गेंहू और चावल के उत्पादन में भारी कमी हो सकती है.
अभी कुछ महीनो पहले तक, चीन को अमेरिका से फ़ूड प्रोडक्ट्स की सप्लाई बढ़ने के आसार थे, लेकिन ट्रेड टेंशन के कारण चीन अब किस मुँह से अमेरिका से फ़ूड प्रोडक्ट्स का आयात बढ़ाएगा. साथ ही चीन को इतनी बढ़ी तादात में अपने पिग्स को मारना पड़ा, की दुनिया में इतनी एडिशनल कैपेसिटी थी ही नहीं, की चीन की अचानक से आयी डिमांड को पूरा किया जा सके.

अभी पिछले महीने तक, चीन के smart अधिकारी बढ़ती हुई डिमांड के कारण, आसमान छूती महगाई को बहुत अच्छा मान रहे थे. लेकिन अब वह अपनी मीडिया पर ही झिल्ला रहे हैं, जब वह चीन की बढ़ती हुई महगाई को कवर करती है.
इस बात पर बिचार कीजिये, पोर्क प्राइस को काबू में रखने के बजाय, चीन के एक्सपर्ट कह रहे हैं, की पहले जब पोर्क की कीमतें 60 फीसदी बढ़ा करती थी, तब चीन के लोग चिकन जैसे अन्य मीट को ज्यादा खाने लगते थे.
अगर चीन के लोगों का यह अनुमान है, तो उन्हें बहुत बहुत बधाई. क्यों की एक दिन ऐसा भी आ सकता है, जब धीमी होती हुई इकॉनमी के साथ पोर्क प्राइस में आये 70 फ़ीसदी उछाल का प्रभाव चीन के राजा को चीन की सडकों पर देखने को मिलेगा.
इसी बीच शायद आपने पढ़ा होगा, की पिछले दो सालों में नेपाल के बहुत से स्कूल्स ने चीन की भाषा को अनिवार्य कर दिया है, क्योकि चीन चीनी भाषा के टीचर फ्री ऑफ़ कॉस्ट उपलब्ध करा रही है.
नेपाल के नियमो के मुताबिक, कोई स्कूल अपनी दम पर विदेश भाषा को mandatory नहीं कर सकता है, लेकिन फिर भी नेपाल के स्कूल्स ने इस नेपाली नियम की धज्जिया उड़ा के रख दी. आप तो जानते हैं, ऐसा करने के लिए पैसा कहाँ से आ रहा होगा.
आपको पता हैं, नेपाल को चीन की गोद में बैठने में बढ़ा मजा आ रहा है. कभी कभी तो नेपाली हमें भी उपदेश देते हैं, की हमें भी उनकी तरह चीन के प्यार में पागल हो जाना चाहिए.

Until few months back, China was planning to raise food imports including pork from America. Thanks to rising trade tension, China can no longer afford to increase food import from America. Moreover, given the scale of pigs killing in China, there is simply not enough pork to meet Chinese demand

Until few months ago, China was considering rising inflation as sign of rising demand, but now they are getting angry on media covering huge price rice in China.
