आग में और घी डालते हुए, जब 13 जून को जापान के प्रधान मंत्री अपनी यात्रा को ख़तम कर रहे थे, तभी जापान के ट्रेड मिनिस्टर ने announce किया, की जापान से सम्बन्ध रखने वाले दो ऑइल टैंकर्स पर गल्फ ऑफ़ ओमान में अटैक कर दिया गया.
अमेरिकी साइड ने इस हमले का दोष ईरान के सर पर मढ़ दिया, तो ईरान की साइड ने कहा, की अमेरिका के पास कोई सबूत नहीं है, जिनसे इस हमले के पीछे ईरान के हाथ को साबित किया जा सके.
गल्फ ऑफ़ ओमान से गुजने वाले कई ऑइल टैंकर्स में से केवल हमले के लिए जापान के ऑइल टैंकर्स का चुना जाना, कन्फर्म करता है, की जापान के द्वारा शांति के लिए की गयी कोसिस को फ़ैल करवाने की स्वाभाविक कोसिस की गयी है.
जापान के और जा रहे दो ऑइल टैंकर्स पर हुए अटैक की आलोचना की जानी चाहिए, और इस हमले में शामिल सभी हमलावरों के खिलाफ कार्यवाही जल्द की जानी चाहिए, ताकि खाड़ी के देशों से अन्य देशों तक ऑइल के शिपमेंट लगातार जाते रहें. लेकिन फिर भी, शांति के लिए की गयी जापानीज कोशिश की प्रशंसा की जानी चाहिए.
अब पॉजिटिव न्यूज़ के बारे में बात करते हुए, जापान के प्रधान मंत्री से ईरान के राष्ट्र पति ने कहा है, की वह चाबहार पोर्ट में जापान का स्वागत करते हैं, और जापान चाबहार पोर्ट और मारकन रीजन में निवेश कर सकता है, इसके लिए ईरान हर तरह की सहूलियत मुहैया करवाने के लिए तैयार है.

हो सकता है, जापान के लोग वैसे भी रिस्क कम लेते हैं, इसलिए उन्होंने चाबहार में निवेश न करने का निर्णय लिया हो. अब जबकि चाबहार पोर्ट को अमेरिकी आर्थिक प्रतिबंधों से ढिलाई मिली हुई है. और चाबहार पोर्ट पर ऑपरेशन्स भी पहले की तरह चल रहे हैं. आशा की जा सकती है, की जापान ईरान के प्रस्ताव पर सकारात्मक ढंग से विचार करेगा.
अभी जबकि ईरान चाबहार पोर्ट में जापान का स्वागत कर रहा है, तो यदि जापान के ऑइल टैंकर्स पर हमले में ईरान का हाथ है, तो ईरान को जवाब देना होगा, की उसने यह हमला क्यों करवाया.
ऐसा भी हो सकता है, की जो शक्तियां चाहती थी, की शांति के लिए जापान के प्रधान मंत्री की कोसिस सफल न हो, उन्होंने ही खाड़ी के गरम पानी में जापान के ऑइल टैंकर में आग लगा के peace maker जापान को पनिश करने की कोसिस की हो.
इस हमले के पीछे किसी का भी हाथ हो, एक बात तो तय है, की इसने पुरे मामले को और उलझा दिया है. और जापान अभी हाल फिलहाल चाबहार पोर्ट से दूर ही रहेगा.
जहाँ तक भारत का सवाल है, हम तो चाबहार पोर्ट में जापान के शामिल होने का हमेसा स्वागत करेंगे. लेकिन लगता है, इसके लिए अभी हमें और लम्बा इंतजार करना होगा.

You might be aware of Japanese prime minister was on two days Iran visit to find diplomatic solution to the increased tension in between Iran and America.
By and large, this visit failed to move things forward, since Iranian supreme leader has said that President trump is not worthy of Iranian response.
Making matter worse, On 13th of this month, when Japanese prime minister was wrapping up his peacemaking visit, Japanese trade minister announced, that two oil tankers which were carrying Japan related cargo have been attacked in the gulf of Oman.
American side openly blamed Iran for this blatant assault, but Iranian side has said that there is no evidence confirming Iranian hand behind the attack on Japan bound oil tankers.
However, selection of Japan related oil tankers for the attack, obviously confirms, that Japanese attempt to find a peaceful solution has been made to fail.
While attack on Japan bound oil cargo must be condemned, and the attackers must be punished to ensure oil shipments from Gulf countries to other countries keep going on. Anyways, Japanese attempt for peace must be appreciated.
Now coming to positive news, during the visit of Japanese prime minister, Iranian president has said that Iran welcomes Japan's cooperation and investment in the Chabahar port as well as the Makran region, and is ready to attract Japanese investment,
You might know, The option for Japan to invest in Chabahar port has been open for a very long period of time. After Iran nuclear deal, the possibility was very high for Japan to invest in Chabahar port. However, soon afterwards clouds of uncertainty started hovering over this deal.
Perhaps that's why Japan decided not to put money on Chabahar port. Now that Trump administration has granted waiver to Chabahar port, and operations are going on there. Japan will hopefully consider the Iranian proposal of investment in Chabahar port.
When Iran was welcoming Japan in Chabhar port, why Iranian authorities chose Japan related oil tankers for attack? that's the question Iran should answer, if its really behind the attack.
It could also be possible that there are other forces which have never wanted Japanese prime minister to succeed, and they have intervened by attacking the peacemaker in the waters of Gulf.

Indian side would have naturally welcomed any Japanese involvement in Chabahar port. However, it appears, we will have to wait more in this regard.
