You might recall, In the year 2016, rejecting Chinese claims over South China sea, International Tribunal ruled in favor of Philippines.
Rather than leading the international pressure build up on China, smart new Philippines government decided to maintain good relationship with China.
In the month of Last May, Philippines government woke up when 90 Chinese vessels have surrounded Thitu island of Philippines.
Philippines president threatened China and said that his soldiers would be ready to fight even if it means suicide for them.
Yesterday, Philippines president proudly said that he asked Chinese president why Chinese ships are surrounding Thitu island?
Rather interestingly, Philippines president said, that as per discussion with Chinese king, Philippines never allowed America to set foots on Thitu island, because it will not be acceptable to China.
Basically, Philippine was trying to appease China by not allowing Americans to use Thitu islands, assuming that China will not claim Thitu island in future.
However, recent Chinese actions in the south china sea, confirms, Appeasement of China makes china more aggressive.
Now Consider this, While President of Philippines was telling press about his frank discussion with Chinese king.
Philippines coast guard has said that they have seen warships of Chinese people's liberation army Navy with in 7 to 12 nautical miles of Scarborough Island.
On this island, the standoff in between China and Philippines has been going on since year 2012.
You might say, these incidents never affect common man. however back in the year 2012, international tribunal has ruled, that China had unlawfully prevented Fisherman of Philippines from engaging in traditional fishing at Scarborough island.
The point is simple, China is not wastefully burning its gasoline to send warships near the islands claimed by Philippines.
Nevertheless, countries are failing to holistically recognize the danger China present to them.
Consider this, despite Chinese act of aggression, Philippine is going ahead with Huawei for its upcoming 5G trial.
Understandably, Philippines government is not connecting Chinese maritime militia and Huawei company.
Moreover, there is this understanding that appeasement of China will make sure that China doesn't become aggressive.
Philippines example confirm to us that such understanding is nothing but foolishness.
So far as India is concerned, sadly its more likely that India will also allow Huawei in 5G trials.
If you have recently observed, America asked Pakistan to first take steps to improve relationship with India, on the contrary China asked India to talk to Pakistan to solve the disputes.
Moreover China asked India not to target Pakistan in S C O, but ordered India to join China and Russia to form a trade block against America.
It would be interesting to see, if Indian government surrenders Indian future in front of sweet Chinese words in S C O conference.
Friends, you all know, if China wins in the trade war with America, India will have to pay the heaviest price in Arunachal pradesh and Indian ocean.
we hope you remember, before Trade war started in between China and America in the year 2018, China was making a road towards India in Doklam back in the year 2017.
