In every two months, we keep reading news about growing bond of friendship in between Pakistan & Russia.



Buying defense weapon from Russia has always been a dream for Pakistan. You all know, by spreading such false news, Pakistan firstly satisfies the ego of domestic audience, and secondly creates panic among Indian experts about Russia going closer to Pakistan, only because India is embracing America.



Therefore such reports serve Pakistani purpose very effectively. Perhaps that's why we keep hearing about Pakistan buying T90 Tank, Missile Defense system and fighter jets from Russia.



However as per news reports published in couple of Indian news papers, Last year Pakistan requested Russia to sell 50,000 AK series assault rifles to Pakistan.



However, Russia has rejected Pakistani request, and later on assured India that there will not be any Russian military deal with Pakistan.



You see, Pakistan was dreaming to buy Sukhoi 35 from Russia, which has declined to even sell assault rifle to Pakistan.



While its tempting to see Russian rejection to Pakistan as Russian favor to India, however you all are smart, By declining Pakistani request, Russia has favored itself.



You all know, Russia India Joint Venture is soon going to start production of 7 Lakh 50 Thousand AK203 assault Rifle in Amethi.



Major progress on this project has been achieved this year with direct support from President Putin and Prime Minister Modi.



You tell, would President Putin be a wise man, if he had decided to sell 50 Thousand AK series guns to Pakistan, only to put project of making 7 Lakh 50 Thousand latest AK series guns in India in jeopardy?



We all know, President Putin is very clever person, hence its obvious why Russia rejected Pakistani Request.



You all understand, Selling weapons to two enemies simultaneously is not a smart business strategy. Russia has to obviously choose either Pakistan or India.



our point is simple, though we should be thankful to Russia, yet we should not get buried under the mountain of this friendship. As largest defense importer in the world, we have huge bargaining power. Hence defense equipment sellers have to take care of Indian strategic concerns.



So far as Pakistan is concerned, they can continue their dream of buying T90 Tanks, Sukhoi 35 and S400 Missile defense system from Russia. After all dreaming cost you nothing.



Today's very easy question is, Russia has rejected to sell which defense equipment to Pakistan?
