You all know, Tension in between China and Philippines has been running very high for last two months.



In the month of Last May, Philippines government woke up when 90 Chinese vessels have surrounded Thitu island of Philippines.



Afterwards Philippines coast guard had seen warships of Chinese Navy with in 7 to 12 nautical miles of Scarborough Island.



In the month of June, Philippine vessel was peacefully anchored near Reed Bank in South China sea.



But a Chinese vessel rammed with this Philippine boat causing it to sink.



In all these three incidents, one thing is common, Government of Philippines did nothing in response to Chinese aggression in Exclusive Economic Zone of Philippines.



Now, Philippines president has said that he has entered into verbal agreement with Chinese King.



As per this agreement, China will not block Filipino fisherman in Scarborough island as long as China has access to Reed bank.



Now Chinese vessel can peacefully indulge in fishing activities in the exclusive economic zone of Philippines.



However,Referred as Mountain of Gold, Reed bank has massive reserves of Natural Gas. You can now see, why China has remained focused on Recto bank.



President of Philippines is saying, he has allowed Chinese fishing activities, because it would create problems.



You can understand, why he is being  called coward in Philippines.



Anyways, now that he entered into some sort of agreement with China, he openly dared America to first declare war against China. Thereafter Philippines will join it. 



As per him, Americans always instigate him to pick fight with China, that's why he is now saying, that if America wants to stop China in South China Sea, it should fire the first shot.



Both America and Philippines are scared of war, China is simply exploiting this weakness.



Though America and Philippines have mutual defense treaty, yet its incumbent upon Philippines to invoke this agreement first.



Moreover, America is not sharing the waters of south china sea, its Philippines which is losing to chinese creeping encroachment.



To some extent, Philippines president is right, when he said that Last American president Obama didn't stop China, when it was building artificial islands.



Contrary to Chinese promise to President Obama, now all these artificial islands are heavily militarized.



American president committed the blunder at that time, but did that give right to Philippines to attempt maintaining good relationship with China, when In the year 2016, rejecting Chinese claims over South China sea, International Tribunal ruled in favor of Philippines.



Both America and Philippines share the blame, but how long they will point fingers at each other, making Chinese king happy.



So far as we think, This blame game will go on in south China sea. Given Next presidential election in Philippines is due in the year 2022, but who knows, President Trump wins second terms in the year 2020 or not.



Amid all this, Chinese king is smiling, because he is leader of china till he is alive.
